Vacation home in the heart of Ziegenrück, the "Pearl on the Thuringian Sea" We have lovingly renovated the house with ecological materials and given it back the old charm of 1904. Up to 12 people can now be accommodated on 200 m² on 3 floors. The rooms are airy, with historical details from many decades. The house is located in the middle of the Thuringian Slate Mountains, in the immediate vicinity of the Hohenwarte reservoir, the ideal area for hiking, biking or canoeing.

Central - with fireplace and terrace

In a private courtyard with lots of greenery, the cozily furnished house (76 m²) awaits its guests. You can park your car for free right in front of your accommodation. The central location means you can quickly get to the city center. In the living area, you can end the day with a crackling fireplace in the cold season (wood is provided by the host). In the warm season, you can make yourself comfortable on the large terrace (for your use only) with a glass of wine.

Take a break in a lovingly restored apartment and enjoy the charm between new and old. Let your soul unwind in the spacious, separate garden. If you want, you can also taste from the farmhouse. It's interesting to watch the honey produce by the bees. You can also have everything explained by the beekeeper. Our holiday home is a more than 200 years old former water mill in the hilly landscape of the Franconian Hassberge. Where previously the flour was ground for the estate of the Bundorfer Castle, today up to 12 guests can relax on 250 sqm in the elegant salon, the open kitchen with cozy breakfast room and 6 bedrooms.
