Great value for a lovely quiet retreat for the weekend, easy to get around the North Cornish coast from the location. Accomodation was spotless and very comfortable, would happily stay again as it offered all we need.

Our second time staying here and we loved it just as much as the first time. A home away from home! The cottage is lovely, cosy, and clean with plenty of space as a family of 6 and a dog. Giles was really helpful and we loved all the local recommendations and walks. The location is perfect. Can’t wait to return next year!

We had a lovely stay at Little Barn with myself, my sister, and our mum. The barn was fully equipped with everything we needed, and Mary and her husband were incredibly accommodating. It's in a great location in Porth—peaceful yet close to everything. We’ll definitely be visiting again!

The Barn is a marvel. Lovely hosts, excellent little house with everything I could possibly have needed. This is a model of what proper AirBnB should be - us tourists financially supporting local people and their lives/work on Dartmoor. Fab! I'll be back!

brilliant stay at poppy's barn. we're a family of 5 and it felt cosy and homely. the kids loved playing in the garden and slept well in their twin room. beautiful views and peaceful nights, we rested well in the house. in the area, we thoroughly enjoyed exploring trebarwith strand beach at low tide. we visited tintagel, boscastle and port Isaac. great little villages near by. thank you for having us!

Lovely converted barn in a cute little village, among the beautiful hills of Devon and close to the nice town of Totnes. The pub next door is an added bonus (dont forget to book). Our toddler really enjoyed roaming around the garden, as well as the toys provided, while we enjoyed the fireplace in the evening. The owners were lovely and really responsive.

A lovely stay, had everything you could possibly need - we had two infants with us and loved the amount of space. Felt like we where out in the countryside but only 5mins from a big food shop. Lots of lovely walks nearby

Georgina is a wonderful host and she made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The Old Barn is beautifully decorated, has a gorgeous bathroom with great water pressure, a large open kitchen with high quality cooking equipment and tableware available. The balcony overlooks one of their fields and has lovely views of the surrounding area and is a great spot to have breakfast, watch the sheep grazing, have a glass of wine as the sun sets and stargaze at night. Georgina provided plenty of local recommendations for beautiful walks, great spots to eat, local farm shops and activities / places to visit slightly further afield (Devon has plenty to offer and Cornwall is a short drive away). We would highly recommend The Old Barn and Georgina’s properties for anyone looking for a top quality place to enjoy the countryside, beaches, walks and other activities that Devon and Cornwall have to offer, with simply superb hosts and a truly special location.

Sarah was just the best host. We had fresh baked sourdough our first morning which was so nice & a bottle of wine waiting on arrival. The place was amazing & so quiet. Truffles the family dog was a welcome visitor everyday & our 3 dogs adored him! he's very special. Location was great, we visited Bude, Tintagel, Port Isaac & Boscastle. Accommodation was fab, massive comfy beds, clean & very modern. We both loved how it had been decorated, really quirky. All in all we didn't want to leave & we miss Truffles already. Highly recommend & we'll be back x

We stayed at Rollstone Barn at the end of April / beginning of May 2025. The hosts regularly communicated via messages on AirBnB before and during our stay without being intrusive. The directions provided were clear and accurate. The location was superb as it’s a peaceful location but not far from the main attractions by car. The barn was pristine and is a lovely property, we appreciated the gifts on arrival as this was a thoughtful gesture. There was ample room for 2 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs. The garden was spacious and safe for the children and dogs which included a pool table and table football in the shed. Devon is a lovely place and we had a great holiday for a number of reasons, two of which being Rollstone Barn and very welcoming hosts. This is one of the best properties we’ve rented on holiday and we would love to stay here again one day hence our 5 star review.

We are a large family with teens & also two small foster children & our stay pleased everyone. We had ample space in the property & it was very quiet & peaceful. The swimming pool was lovely & warm & very clean & we had it to ourselves which was great for taking the little ones. The house got quiet warm so i asked if we could have a fan & two arrived the next day which was very appreciated. Overall it’s a little gem of a place & would highly recommend it!

We had an absolute fantastic stay at Nicola's place. We can highly recommend this most relaxing and peaceful place in stunning Cornwall. Nicola is a great host and has made us feel very welcome. She has created an absolute wonderful home away from home with everything you wish for. Thank you so much for having us. Hope to come back some time soon.

Very clean and tidy, great communication from Hazel throughout and the Barn was well setup for us staying with our baby. Would definitely stay again if visiting the area.

I stayed at the Stables with my dog Maisie and we enjoyed a very chilled, peaceful time in lovely surroundings. The Stables look just like the pictures and Leanne is a very responsive and helpful host, with quick answers to questions I had at the time of my booking and in the run up to and during my stay. Knowing I was bringing my dog, there was a very thoughtful arrival hamper with scones, strawberries and cream for me and some dog cookies for Maisie, which certainly were very much appreciated by us both! The house guide is also very helpful and informative. St Marychurch and Babbacombe Downs with Oddicombe beach are within easy walking distance and have a number of dog friendly places to stop for a coffee and a cake. We had the most amazing time staying at Alan & Davina’s Apple Barn! Pure luxury and bliss. They were great hosts and I found them overly accommodating and their place had everything we needed and more. The homemade lemon drizzle was a gorgeous touch too. Thank you for being so lovely. We will be sure to visit again!

This was a fabulous cottage for our holiday - it had everything we needed and was really clean and comfortable. The activity barn was great for the whole family. It’s a great location for exploring north Devon and the hosts were really friendly and helpful. The option to use all three cottages if you had a bigger family get together would be perfect - we would highly recommend Bowood Farm Cottages ❤️

My stay at Frances’ was absolutely lovely- she made us feel very welcome from the offset! The place is very charming and homely- I’ll be back for sure if I return to this neck of the woods!

We had a great 4 night stay at Acorn Barn. What an amazing place this is a lovely old stable converted to a cosy little living space, extremely comfy bed and well equipped kitchenette. Having washing / drying facilities was a bonus situated externally to the main space. Parking is straight outside, which was really useful. Well located to explore all of Cornwall , nowhere more than an hours drive away. Some very welcome touches such as biscuits and chocolate was a lovely surprise on arrival. Our host Samantha was extremely helpful and welcoming and provided us some food to allow us to feed the resident hens. There are also some geese and a horse on the grounds, which, have the most amazing views of the Cornish countryside, watching the sun set and rise is amazing , we even heard the owls hooting in the evening. The train line runs in the distance which is also fascinating to watch as they trundle by. All in all a very peaceful place, great surroundings, looking to return soon.

Super stay at this lovely cottage. Great upstairs /downstairs layout with huge space upstairs for socialising. Had everything we needed for a super easy stay for 4 adults and 2 dogs and kitchen was well stocked for cooking at home and enjoying the space. Enjoyed not being hit with a long list of house rules, super relaxed hosts and very dog friendly. Would definitely stay again as great area for exploring Devon.

An absolute gem! Stayed for a long weekend with my husband and our doberman. The property is lovely and comfortable. Kitchen is fully equipped. We paid extra for the little hamper of local items and it was so worthwhile, everything was delicious. The property was well kept, comfortable. The bed probably one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The courtyard was perfect for us as it stopped our naughy dobie running off without us. The secure field was a godsend and meant our active dog could run and run and run every morning. A highlight for me was being able to feed the pigs with any food scraps each morning. A lovely stay overall. Our host was also excellent when we accidentally locked ourselves out on Easter Sunday. Highly recommend a stay here and hope to come back!

The Barn is an outstanding property. The care and attention given to every aspect of it ensures you have a wonderful stay. So much thought has gone into making it a welcoming and inviting place to stay. Loved it!
