Monthly Rentals in Tourliac

10 people, 10 days, 2 horses and a 100 mile race! This is very hard to accommodate for and this property and host exceeded our expectations. The house was comfortable for more than 10 people and the host allowed us to have our horses at the property on the farmland. Wonderful! We were very close to Monpazier which is a beautiful medieval town and hosts endurance races. We were an 8 minute drive to the venue/hippodrome for the actual race.

Our hosts were very welcoming and they even took care to prepare a map for us with the different sights nearby. The accommodation was very good, indeed the miller's ladder is quite steep and the first floor is very attic especially the bathroom. it was a pleasant stay.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The weather wasn't great but we generally went visiting nearby towns like Monpazier, Castillonnes and Bergerac and came back to use the great swimming pool in the afternoon. Villereal is a short drive away and it has a large supermarket and all the restaurants and cafes needed. Sylviane and her husband were very attentive and kind. The house was stylish and fully equipped for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed cooking on the BBQ provided and eating alfresco in our private patio. If I were super critical of the house I would say the head-height at first floor wasn't good and if the weather had been warmer I think it would have been an uncomfortably hot place to sleep. All good otherwise.

My husband and I booked on short notice and were able to get an early check-in. Hosts were very responsive and friendly. The location was beautiful and peaceful and private. The host had fresh flowers and walnuts from the region waiting for us. The stairs to the sleeping areas on the second level might be a little difficult for disabled individuals or children but otherwise the home is very nice. We especially loved the hot tub after a long day!
