Charming lakeside house, Bakkevig Gard Nedstrand

The house is west facing with a view to the sea and only a few meters down to the seafront. Below the house is a nice, spacious garden and on the upside lawn up to the road. The house is built around 1970, and is characterized by some retro style. Kitchen is renovated in 2024 and there is a new floor in the kitchen/living room and new windows facing south. New roof is under planning. It is possible to hire a boat and kayaks for trips on the fjord in the community. Otherwise, there are many nice hiking opportunities on foot both in the community and the district otherwise.

The house is located in Førevik on Bokn, 5 km from Arvågen ferry dock, where the ferry goes, which takes you over to/ from Stavanger, and we are located 35 km from Haugesund. The house was built in 1932, but has been upgraded over time, and today has a standard that we are used to having at home. The property is located 150m from the sea, good fishing grounds, and a shop. There are lovely hiking trails around us, and Bokna Mountain with its height of 293 meters above sea level, has a gravel road up and has to be experienced. Boat can be available by agreement

The house is located in a quiet and natural residential area with short walking distance to the beach, shop, ferry pier and hiking areas. Perfect for families, couples and groups of friends who want a quiet holiday with proximity to both nature and local facilities. Best suited for up to 8 people, but can accommodate 10 when using two small children's rooms with low ceiling height. Fully equipped kitchen and comfortable living room. The annex is opened for 5–10 guests.

Lovely views and location in a quiet and idyllic settlement in the Nedstrands fjord with its beautiful beaches and archipelago, and green-clad lush mountains. The home is of high standard and comfortable with unique details and exciting solutions. The area around the residence is Nature Clear with several seating positions. We have kayaks that can be borrowed for free in addition to crab stones. There are hammocks, fire pans, dining areas and barbecues in the garden.
