Baroque apartment at the Old Town Hall 1

A very special apartment in a dream location with a view of Bamberg Town Hall, stylishly decorated with antiques. The front building was erected in 1530, and the water side followed in 1640. Originally a half-timbered house, it was plastered during the Baroque period in the 17th century. The façade was restored in May 2026 with great attention to detail and is now once again shining in all its glory next to the town hall. The house was purchased by my grandparents in 1968; before that, it had been a pharmacy for 200 years.

One room with a kitchenette, a wood-burning stove for the winter, a good bed, a small bathroom, a large terrace and a view over orchards towards the forest... Franconian Switzerland and our small goat field valley is a wonderful area for long hikes. But you don't have to go far: right in front of the house, it blooms and thrives and all kinds of fruits and berries invite you to snack.

In the middle of nature surrounded by the Franconian Forest next to the Lichtenberg bathing lake and Höllental. Our guest house (about 89 m) is located on our mini-farm, which we run as a hobby. The Schleusehof is idyllically located on a small river, where you can cool your feet on hot days. A bed under the star tent! Anyone who enters the yurt is immediately enchanted by the unique sense of space of this completely round dwelling. Unlike in the square rooms we are used to, the view can wander unhindered here. You feel welcome, protected and somehow immediately comfortable.
