Holiday rentals with a sauna in Upper Franconia

Whenever we travel south from Berlin, we try to book this apartment which has everything we need.

If you want a little break from stressful everyday life, this is the place to be. Mr. Ulm is very friendly and helpful and you can tell that he and his wife have given a lot of thought to make your stay as pleasant and relaxing as possible. Here is especially the "mini supermarket" where you can find everything you need for a short break (e.g. hot rolls, noodles, coffee, etc.). Even if you don't feel like cooking yourself, there are catering dishes from a local catering company that can be easily prepared in the oven and taste great, without any artificial ingredients. In addition to the living area, there is the separate spa area. Here, too, there is a lot of love for detail such as homemade scrubs and sauna infusions, so you can spend some relaxing hours here. All in all, we enjoyed it very much and we will definitely be back.

Our 5-day stay in this apartment was absolutely wonderful! The decor was not only beautiful, but also very tasteful and immediately gave us a feeling of home. Particularly noteworthy is the sauna, which turned our stay into a relaxing oasis. The apartment was always clean, which shows how much value the landlady places on cleanliness and comfort. We were greeted with loving care that we so rarely experience. The landlady herself was incredibly warm and always took care of our well-being. The location of the apartment in a quiet and relaxing area perfectly rounded off our vacation. Here you could really switch off and relax. We highly recommend this stay and would come back any time. The apartment is very spacious with everything you need. The arrival was very well described so we got along well. Communication with the host was straightforward and quick. Very recommended!

We had booked both apartments to walk the 5 Seidla Steig. Christine was there herself for a short time and was able to give us tips. Very pleasant and easy going👍🏼. The apartment probably newly renovated, bright, clean and nicely furnished. You could move in right away. Top kitchen and amenities. Great view and large balcony. Even with climbing wall that we also tested. The price is unbeatable compared to surrounding pensions. This was also one of the few ways to accommodate our friend group with 10 people together in the area. Now even 12 people are leaving. We were all able to have breakfast together, as there are large tables, enough space and also enough dishes. It was just great and everyone enjoyed it. If we go hiking there again, we will be happy to come back. Thank you very much Christine

This space was perfect! It was clean and comfortable, and so peaceful. My only regret is we didn’t have more time to stay here! It was truly amazing. You won’t regret your decision to stay.

We highly recommend Markus' cottage. It corresponds to 100% of the description, is so tastefully decorated and very well appointed. In short, nothing is missing! Although the garden has not yet been completed with us, that will certainly change soon. The house is ideal as a starting point for excursions to Franconian Switzerland or Bamberg, Nuremberg, etc. Gößweinstein itself is also a nice little place, even if the average age of most visitors is certainly well above the retirement age. The communication with Markus is pleasant and characterized by short response times, problems are cleaned immediately. We will be happy to come back!

There's nothing wrong with it. The place is totally beautiful, super clean, nicely processed (no puff) and everything was really thought of. The decor and decor is stylish and not cluttered. It makes you feel right at home. A very clear recommendation. We'll be back!

We stayed at Philipp's place for a few days during Easter holidays. The house looks exactly as shown in the pictures, was clean and cozy. The surrounding area is very close, there is a playground. We enjoyed the time there and recovered super well. The host Philipp was very friendly, nice and quickly accessible.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Sandy and Rico's cottage. We were warmly welcomed and we felt like we were at the 5-star hotel, if not better - by the great privacy on site. We especially enjoyed the fact that everything was very dog friendly. Our dog was able to move freely in the fenced garden, there were cups, blankets, bowls and a small snack ready for him. Three houses down at the end of the road directly start hiking trails, so you are quickly in nature. A highlight for us were of course the sauna and the hot tub, but we can also only highlight the little touches from the hosts everywhere in the house. Everything was really as described online in the place. All rooms were spotlessly cleaned. Air conditioning, swimming pool, sauna, foosball and darts make even the longest stay super pleasant and varied. The sauna and pool can be used completely unrestricted was a huge plus for our group. The outdoor area is equipped with enough furniture and there is enough space to arrange it as you want. A little thing that needs a little extra effort is the seclusion to shopping. There is no supermarket within walking distance. But that was also known from the start and also nothing Jürgen can do. Conclusion: Any time again! Was definitely worth its price (6.).

We had a great place to stay at cottage Toni! The house is modern, tastefully furnished and well equipped – nothing is missing. The location is ideal, with beautiful views of fields and forests. During the day we took walks, and in the evening we enjoyed the magnificent backdrop and sunset in the garden while grilling and eating. It couldn't be more perfect! We will be happy to come back :)

We felt very comfortable in the apartment! It had everything you needed and the amenities left nothing to be desired. We were particularly enthusiastic about the sauna – perfect for relaxing. The stay was also a highlight for the children: plenty of space to play on the farm and plenty to discover. Overall a completely successful stay – we will be happy to come back!

There were 6 of us in the property with baby and child . We were warmly welcomed by Jürgen's cousin and also super friendly in everything:) Everything was super clean and comfortably prepared. We felt right at home. The kitchen has everything you need and more. From coffee, spices to ice cubes in the freezer. We liked to use the jacuzzi and sauna, but it didn't bother us that the jacuzzi was almost on the farm. The beds were very comfortable. Even for babies, everything was thought of here, from changing clothes in the bathroom to swimming diapers, everything was there. Not far from the house is a really nice "children's nature trail" , which is really great to recommend. 2 min walk is a nice playground and in the house enough employment is also possible for the kids. The sports field next door was used from time to time, which was not noisy or disruptive. The house is really well thought out. We were all more than satisfied and felt completely comfortable:)
