There are numerous opportunities for hiking in the adjacent nature reserve. For cycling enthusiasts, there is the junction route that is located right next to the house. Designer Outlet Roermond is 20 km away. A visit to Thorn is also absolutely worth it and of course not to forget Maastricht, 40 km away.

Enjoy the wonderful view of the river Meuse. Use your own jetty to enjoy boating or fishing, there is also a boat ramp next to the chalet to launch your own boat. This chalet has every comfort. Bathroom with spacious shower, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and oven. Luxuriously furnished vacation home with all the comforts, made in a historic style. 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a lovely private terrace directly adjacent to the horse pastures. 'De Oude Stal' and 'De Woelige Stal' are two separate vacation homes for 4 people each that can be linked by a large sliding wall to one large home: 'De Oude Woelige Stal' for 8 people.

Relax in our lovely accommodation in nature, adjacent to the forest. Also child-friendly and dogs are allowed. In addition to the great surroundings, there is plenty to do nearby for young and old. Cities such as Maastricht, Hasselt, Valkenburg and Aachen are easy to reach by car. But the beautiful hiking and biking trails are also well worth it.

Unique townhouse in historic fortress

Unique townhouse in the fortress, part of the Dutch Waterline and Unesco heritage. Close to Loevestein Castle, Gorinchem, and Fort Vuren. Originally built in 1778 as a fortified farmhouse and completely rebuilt as a mayor's house around 1980. Open plan living room with mezzanine and fireplace. Washing machine and freezer available in the house.
