Holiday rentals with breakfast in Vancouver Island

Lucy and Richard are great hosts. Lucy provides a personable experience, where there is no shortage of kindness and warmth. We felt very well cared for and felt the positive difference by being hosted by the homeowners themselves. This isn’t always the case on air bnb anymore due to the rise of property management, and you can really tell the difference. We had a fantastic stay and thoroughly enjoyed it. Lucy makes the entire experience a breeze.

Eva is an amazing host! She's so understanding and is very patient with guest's as they check in and out. Eva provided us with a lovely breakfast to wake up to and the space was just enough room for the 2 of us! Bathroom has enough space to get ready with your partner/kids before a day out! Very close to public transit as well. Beautiful peaceful area!! :) 100/10

This farmhouse is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The house was immaculate and Alicia is a great host! We felt right at home and it is in a great location to explore Olympic National Park. We would stay here again if in the area!

What a nice little gem. I came to Salt Spring for a pottery workshop and stayed at Jeanne’s place because I was hoping to get some kayaking in each day before my class started. Well the location couldn’t be beat for ease of access to the water, and I had some spectacular sunrise paddles either the seals, river otters, and herons. What a lovely place, and so well thought out. The interior has exactly what you need (the hot plate is a clever touch!) and there is plenty of outdoor seating. I plan to return next year!

Peaceful and the most beautiful views. Woke up on our first morning to two dolphins and a seal swimming by. Saw bald eagles, colorful birds, and got lost watching a small pod of whales about 100 yards away. Close to the pass if you’re into snow sports and close to downtown… but very removed from all of the busy. Great spot.

Sarella is an exceptional host. Catered to my every need and then some. Fresh fruit, muffins and toiletries and a fully stocked kitchen. I could not have asked for a more beautiful view. The sheets are THE softest I have ever slept on. Resident cat Handsome Harry is a doll and joined me for my morning coffee. Hands-down the best Air BNB I have ever stayed at. Thank you Sarella I enjoyed our evening chats!!!

The downstairs apartment we stayed in was recently renovated with great taste. It felt very clean and was an awesome find with a good price. The location was great. Easy to walk around town and we even saw the hosts again at their pottery studio. Great stay, would definitely recommend

Suranshi is a great host, always friendly, quick to respond and answer questions. Her space is well furnished, comfortable and fully equipped with all necessities. The apartment is in a great location in New West, close to the skytrain and near lots of shops and restaurants.

Sunsets from the wharf were awesome. Private. Supplied food was excellent. Personable host with excellent local knowledge.

Diana’s place was exactly like the pictures. Perfect size, perfect location and walking distance from almost everything. Diana was also super helpful and responsive to all messages! We will definitely stay there again if come back to Vancouver.

What a wonderful space Mike and Marilyn have! The property is stunning and the suite feels like a private cabin in the woods. The views were spectacular and the suite had everything we needed for the weekend. Mike and Marilyn greeted us when we arrived and showed us the suite thoroughly with recommendations of the town! Definitely a must stay if visiting salt spring :)

I had a fantastic stay! Caron was incredibly kind and helpful. My room was warm and cozy, making me feel right at home. The shared space was also clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully decorated, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay, and I would love to come back in the future!

Brilliant. Brigitte was very warm, congenial and happy to answer questions we had about places to see, places to eat and other local amenities. Very knowledgeable and more than willing to share her local knowledge. She made us feel very welcome. The breakfast we had was superb! Certainly kept us going for the day. We would certainly come back and would not hesitate to recommend it. Probably its greatest charm was its location looking out over the Swanson Channel and the Gulf Islands. Relaxing, comfortable and no worries!

My mom, daughter and I had a wonderful stay at Big Fir Cottage. The setting was private, peaceful and beautiful. We loved falling asleep in the cozy beds listening to the frogs. The cottage was well equipped and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast and snacks (croissant, waffles, fresh bread, granola, farm eggs, yogurt and tea options) that were left for us. The bakery, cafe and grocery shop just down the street provided local and convenient offerings. Well worth a visit. Thank you for providing a magical spot for folks to spend time together. We look forward to returning.

We had such an enjoyable stay at the 5 elements spa! The host was great, with a nice check-in where we were shown around the property and spa. He also gave us great local recommendations. A highlight was being able to use the sauna and the steam room located there ! We would highly recommend

We had an amazing weekend unplugging. The property is beautiful. I recommend exploring the cool ship, river and views. A perfect Cozy getaway for two in your own private cottage and hot tub! We appreciated the hospitality and all the little extras like robes and goodies. We hope to come back this summer! Thank you for having us!

Diane and Jim were wonderful hosts, always happy to share recommendations on restaurants or hikes in the local area. The cabin itself is beautiful, has everything you need and nothing more. It made for a wonderful escape from the City. The deer roaming the grounds added a special something too. I'm excited to return here!

This was our third time staying at Mimosa. We couldn’t be happier! We love the location. It is quiet, sparkly clean, the amazing views and great walking neighborhood with our pup! Oh don’t forget the yummy granola for breakfast! I highly recommend Doug’s place. We will definitely e back…

Radka and Keegan were a very generous and hospitable hosts with excellent communication. The breakfast in the cafe is delicious and a great value to be included in the price of the rental. The bed is very comfortable, the rooms were clean, the water pressure and hot water were good. The location is very convenient, right by the ferry terminal. It's an older heritage building with plenty of charm, the stairs up to the unit are a bit narrow so watch your step and it may not be ideal for people with mobility challenges. There is a great covered patio on the side of the cafe if you want to use it. Parking is convenient on the street beside the cafe. Overall, this is a great option for a stay in Sointula for 2-4 people and everyone is very friendly, getting breakfast or a coffee at the cafe is a great way to meet colourful locals and find out what is happening in the community.
