We had the best long weekend getaway here: Shipwreck Cove is a cool, cozy space full of personality and homey, special touches. Tim and Nicole were generous, caring, and wonderfully communicative hosts: we had a mishap around check-in that they resolved with grace and warmth, which basically tells you all you need to know about the overall experience of staying here! We would definitely return!

Brent and Suzy were so accommodating and responsive. Anything we needed or asked about they were quick to respond and incredibly helpful. We appreciated the local expertise. The accommodations had everything we needed and was comfortable. We would stay here again!

Let me tell you, this place was truly something else. For an off grid cottage resort, it felt like home. So Magical and peaceful that words can't really describe it. Both Mark and Cynthia's hospitality was phenomenal. They have truly built a unique resort off grid. Must experience it for yourselves, like I said, words can't describe it other than go visit them. Cynthia made our boys home made cookies that were out of this world!! Mark was so caring making sure we were always comfortable and always had our wood pile stocked. I can keep going and going but I'll end it like this, We will be visiting their lovely cottage again and again. Next time for us will be to experience summer there. I stayed at Brad’s place for one month with my wife and our 1 year old. We also had family visiting for a few weeks and rented both cabins. The location is incredible with beautiful views of the water. The cabin is small and cosy, with everything you need. Brad was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to all our questions. The cabin is a short drive to town and restaurants. We frequently visited the co-op and bakery 10 minutes away. Brad provided a pack and play for our son and he loved playing with the rocks on the private beach. We couldn’t quite see from the pictures, but upon arrival realized that there are three houses on the property but the third house was empty during our stay. The property is very private and feels secluded. Would highly recommend!

Michelle has created a custom retreat with plenty to enjoy. You are surrounded by elevated pieces all while feeling comfortably one with the space. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in, and the tub was so nice I used it twice during our short stay. Our girls felt the magic of their sleeping quarters, using the desk, cozy reading nook and the canvas tie backs for the bed area with joy. We were well greeted and given a lovely rundown of the ins and out of the beautiful space. A special experience was had by all. Perfect for our family of four. This was our last stop on a multi-legged tour of the eastern side of the island. A haven between hikes, markets, and secondhand bookstores, I am so glad I booked last. True RnR.

We have stayed here multiple times and always love it. Beautiful views, lots of space, and great hosts. We were there during a terrible storm, which knocked power out on the whole island. Erika and Rob were super helpful and responsive and helped us get the generator going so we had all the essential power we needed. Highly recommend.

Nice little cabin on a fantastic waterfront site. Water views are all around, good access to small beach. House has well stocked kitchen that is very functional. Property is very quiet and secluded yet not far from Friday Harbor. We would definitely return.

From amazing communication to more amenities than advertised we were beyond happy with this stay. The house has everything you could need to play in the adjacent ocean or cook or BBQ. We were able to see so many things right from the deck, yard or beach : seals, little deer, bunnies, shells, starfish, clams, crabs, heron and many more. It’s walking distance to a little local pub but call first as tables and even food was limited. Lots of near by hikes through moss filled forests with huge old trees and we even saw a family of bears. Highly recommend this peaceful vacation spot.

You would be very fortunate to stay here at Avis place in Vancouver. Super location with easy access to all public transport. House warm and welcoming, with all you need, home from home. Avi very responsive host and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend staying here and will stay again for sure

Even BETTER than described in listing! We pulled into the driveway and were speechless. The view is perfect, the air is clean, and you can’t help but immediately feel a wave of relaxation. The house was beautiful with more than enough room for our family of 3. We cooked meals in-house each night and found everything we needed in the kitchen. Linens and toiletries were available in the house. We enjoyed games from the hall cabinet and found the binoculars useful as we tried to spot wildlife outside. The hot tub and outdoor fireplace were wonderful and we took advantage of the downstairs space each evening. The exercise building on property will certainly meet your needs. And the breathtaking view! We loved walking down to the dock to watch the water creatures- even jellyfish! We enjoyed the Sooke area very much during our stay, from watching the sea lions play at Gordon’s beach to biking the Galloping Goose Regional Trail. We had an outstanding time and are ready to return ASAP.

Beautiful home the house was stocked with all the basics in kitchen and bathroom-nice outdoor space. Host was super responsive to my technology challenged brain. It was peaceful and loved the pool, pool table and games great family fun! A+

Katie and Coopers place was a perfect stay as it is very clean, new and equipped with high standard, in a quiet neighborhood. Remarkable to me was the possibility to use a specially for the AirBnB created Netflix account, which was perfect for the rainy afternoon we had. Would definitely come back for a second stay.

Cozy and quiet place. Far from the road so it feels like you really live in a forest and still close to beautiful beaches. Chris is a great host, responded to all our inquiries. Will be happy to stay here again

Gail’s place was a great home base for our outdoor adventures. It was extremely cozy and all of the personal touches were very thoughtful. We will for sure be back!
