Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and Amazon Fire TV (Magenta TV). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

Affordable Residence For 8 People

Rent out my nice house on 2 floors. On the ground floor there is a single room, a double room and kitchen & shower. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, a single room, large kitchen and large bath. Balcony at the front overlooking the lake. 70 meters to Lake Vänern beach with nice swimming areas. Proximity to Lillängshamnen with fish smokehouse, restaurant & cafe. Short walk away is Skoghall city center with several restaurants, grocery store, medical center & gym, etc. Bus goes to Karlstad every 12 minutes & takes you there in 11 minutes

Close to beach, nature and Karlstad city centre

Modern studio with sun from morning to night. Private patio with dining area and river view. Down by the jetty there is a beach with swimming possibility. Kayak is available to hire for a trip on the river or out on the lake. To the center of Karlstad it is about 8 km. There is an oven/microwave, stove and fridge/freezer. TV is available (streaming). Double bed (160x200cm) and a separate air mattress (a total of three sleeping places). Travel cot for baby to rent. Sheets and towels are not included. Welcome!

Newly equipped house with private swimming bay and rowboat

Lovely holiday home for those who like animals and nature! It is possible to fish, swim, hike and bike. In the nearby area, there are several nature reserves as well as walking and biking trails. You have access to a simpler rowboat (life vests can be borrowed) and your own swimming bay or you can borrow our jetty where you can dive or fish. We are located between Örebro and Karlskoga in Norhammar. Towels and sheets will be brought by the guest. For an additional cost, it is available to rent from the host.

House Kilstrand directly on Lake Säven

The house was renovated in 2017 and impresses our guests with its interior design. Here, solo travelers, couples and families alike feel comfortable. There is also the possibility for befriended travelers to rent the neighboring beach cabin and Kilstrand house at the same time and thus be on the go with friends and still maintain their retreat option. Cozy cottage with alpaca and lake view!

Huset ligger i gårdsmiljö och är en av två flyglar. Till huset hör även en privat anlagd strand och brygga. I huset finns tvättmaskin, diskmaskin, mikrovågsugn, kyl, frys och en grill för härliga utekvällar på terassen. Vi har två kajaker och en roddbåt som kan hyras för 200kr styck eller 500 för alla per dag. Vi respekterar er privatspfär men står gärna till hjãlp. Vi pratar svenska, engelska och tyska.
