Where do I begin? Alena (host) was amazing from the second I booked this chalet all the way through checkout, and our trip home. I have stayed in many Air BnB's, and Alena was the best host I could ask for. Before we even checked in Alena had given me recommendations of things to do, places to eat, and had covered any detail I could have needed. During our stay she checked on us to make sure we were enjoying ourselves (even though she was on vacation herself!!!) The chalet is even more beautiful in person, the chalet is surrounded by the Swiss Alps, and the scenery is like nothing I have seen before. Inside the chalet was almost as beautiful as the Alps outside, (no offense Alena ;) The woodwork inside the chalet is stunning along with the other beautiful decor. My family and I began our trip in Paris, and finished at this chalet. It was a long exhausting trip, and seeing the Alps had been on my bucket list for 40 years. This stay was a true dream come true. I completely recommend this stay. Not only a great, clean apartment with all you would need and a very responsive owner. But Engelberg and the surrounding area is impossible to describe in words. You are in for an experience you will never forget

The apartment is very pretty and offers a beautiful view of the Black Forest. The starry sky is great. We had very nice Easter days there and hiked a lot. You can start directly from the house, there are many different tours. Thank you for the hospitality.

Perfect stay,with everything we needed for the short time we were home

Very nicely located courtyard slightly above Lyss with direct forest and hiking trail end. Otherwise, a lot of peace and quiet , as you do not hear the highway or road. The room is right next to the entrance, which certainly offers less privacy than we were allowed to enjoy with other occupations of the other rooms. The kitchen is very well equipped and described. There are hints and instructions everywhere so that you can find your way around. Many thanks to Larissa & Damian

Great quiet apartment, perfectly located to enjoy the surroundings and take beautiful hikes. Very accommodating hosts.

The uncomplicated and very friendly Aline welcomed me, showed me everything briefly. A beautiful studio with comfortable bed, clean bathroom, simple kitchen but with everything you need. Great garden with pond; very private & on its own without disturbances from the outside. Large closet as storage space, easy access incl. Parking. All in all a highly recommended stay with Aline. It really is a gem, you have a wow effect when entering the apartment. Of course, the large bathtub with Jacuzzi is great. Jean-Luc was waiting for us upon arrival and showed us everything, the children were provided free of charge with vehicles and were allowed to use the trampoline right away. It was a nice stay that we are happy to repeat.
