In the water sports village of Terherne on the Sneekermeer. The Kameleon adventure park, cafe, restaurants and the most beautiful church/wedding venue of Friesland around the corner. You sleep on the ground floor (2 bedrooms + private bathroom + private kitchen + private large living room (50 m2) with high ceilings and a fireplace. Private entrance. The 3rd bedroom is upstairs via the front house. Outside on the water your own terrace. Also suitable for group work with a large work table and large TV. Vintage so beautiful, old and cozy. But not spotless.

Walden is located in the middle of the unique backdrop landscape of the Frisian woods. Trees, hedges and wooded banks surround the meadows. With grasslands, water and patches of forest in between. It looks cosy, those grasslands between the trees. Smûk, as we say in Frisian. As many as 250 species of birds and many other animals live here. The area was also gifted with pingos from the Ice Age. Located in the middle of 2 National Parks: Lauwersmeer and the Alde Feannen. An ideal area for cycling and walking.

Pilotenhof

Here you are a farmer on an arable and livestock farm. The ultimate place for a few nights away from the hustle and bustle, where you have a cozy home at your disposal. You will experience the tranquility of the rural area, although you will hear and see the cows, chickens, pigs and machines. Alpacadroom is a unique location on the edge of the village and the Speulderbos. Our cosy holiday home can accommodate 14 people. The old horse stalls and barn have been converted into a cosy, modern and luxurious guest house. The spacious living room features a fully equipped kitchen with a cooking island. All bedrooms have a TV and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. The entire property has underfloor heating. Very suitable for a week(end) with family or friends. Overlooking our alpaca meadows.

After an inspiring day in Amsterdam, it is wonderful to come "home" to this original apartment, which was built in an old hay barn in the village of Watergang. Where everything is available for a relaxing stay for 2-4 people. Very suitable for a nice vacation or long stay. Free bikes for every guest and free canoes and a kayak available. It is also possible to rent a motorboat or to sail into the protected nature reserve yourself with the free canoe.

"De Mooie Liefde" Tiny house in Friesland.

Our "Beautiful Love" used to be the horse stable belonging to the centuries-old farm in which we live. In 2020, we transformed it together with a lot of love and passion into a tiny house with an old lived-in look. The green staircase leads upstairs to the beautiful loft with a 180x200 bed, with a double mattress and a double sheep wool duvet. Under the loft, you will find the beautiful bathroom and kitchen. Get on your bike and start beautiful tours to Bad Zwischenahn, Rastede and Oldenburg from here. In 20 minutes, you can also reach the North Sea coast by car. We want you to relax, with good books, in a quiet but cozy environment, with only greenery and tranquility in front of the windows.

Our old farm has a large barn, the back of which has been converted into a guest house and in which you can enjoy the peace, space and nature that will immediately give you a wonderful vacation feeling. A spacious south-facing patio with beautiful views, table tennis table and fire pit can be used. Spot birds of prey such as buzzards to deer and butterflies and completely relax.

Bohemian Farmhouse. Unique and full of character

Bohemian Farmhouse is not a standard holiday home. It feels like staying in a private museum, filled with art, objects and atmosphere. A place for people who value quiet, character and space (but still close to Amsterdam). The backhouse is what we offer for rent: this used to be the stables in the old days and is now a big, open space with an upstairs. The house is surrounded by a 800m2 garden, included the space under the haystack.
