Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. Our guest house is located in a beautiful spot on the Hondsrug. Here you are surrounded by nature: ancient woods, sandy paths, rolling fields, squirrels, deer and a wide variety of birds. Within walking distance of the cozy Gieten with delicious fresh bread or a Gieterkoek at the bakery. Here you will find the supermarket and nice restaurants. By bike, you can reach the Drenthe state forests with the beautiful Gasselterveld, Boomkroonpad and centuries-old dolmens.

Please note that the address is Achter Raadhoven 45A, a green garden door, and not Achter Raadhoven 45, where our neighbor lives. De Boomgaard (The Orchard) is in the walled garden of an 18th-century house on the legendary Vecht River, where Dutch country life was born. The b&b is a complete cottage of great charm and comfort. Guests have their own entrance, with free parking a few steps from the door. They have their own entirely private bathroom and kitchen.

The studio is just 20 meters from the Spaarne river. The Droste Boulevard is a car-free zone and located on the former premises of the famous Droste Chocolate Factory. Behind the studio there is free parking. The studio has a private entrance, private shower and toilet and one room with a kingsize bed and an extra sleeping couch for 2 persons. (max 4 persons) ideal for families. Also there is a kitchenette with everything to prepare an easy meal or breakfast.
