Here in the quiet Frisian Rohel, you can really be outside, feel the wind in your hair and the sun on your skin. Cycling and walking along the meadows and (cold) swimming in the Tjeukemeer. Apart from the sounds of birds, the rustling of the wind and in the distance a tractor, you hear nothing at all here. The sunsets can be amazingly beautiful here.

From the outdoor terrace with canopy, guests can enjoy the HOT TUB, the views, the stars and a fabulous sunrise. The hot tub costs €40 for the 1st day and €20 for subsequent days. We recommend that you bring your own bathrobes, but if necessary, we also have bathrobes.

The city of Sneek is 15 minutes away by car, Leeuwarden 30 minutes.

The former coach house we have converted into a beautiful apartment and is next to our farm with private terrace on the south. The location of tiny house de Veenweide is perfect for nature lovers. The house is located at the edge of the Alde Feanen nature reserve. The area is great for cycling, hiking, boating, mountain biking, canoeing, birding and fishing. The Alde Feanen has a special stock of plants and birds, which includes the sea eagle, osprey, red pump, and kingfisher. In addition, there is a high chance that you will see deer running by from the cottage.

Waking up overlooking the dining room of a herd of horses living in freedom, 2 pigs making their bed every night in front of the window and sometimes a sheep walks by. Closer to the pure things in life. Therefore, there is no WiFi and no TV. There is a large table to play games together and a lovely sofa to drink a glass of wine together. Our house is a small but very nice house. From the jetty, get on the boat and sail towards the Frisian lakes. The house is very quiet and has all the comforts. You can stay with 4 people at the Wjitteringswei. The beds are lovely. They are now as a double bed but can also be set up as 4 single beds. WiFi is of course also there. And most importantly, a fantastic view. Check-in from 3pm and check-out until 12pm.

Hidden place near the center of Leeuwarden

Hidden in the Leeuwarden district of Huizum, lies the former kindergarten "Boartlik Begjin". At the end of the Ludolf Bakhuizenstraat, lies this special quiet place, within walking distance of the city center and the train station. A nice base to go into the city, shop or visit one of the museums. And also to discover the rest of Friesland. The room is also suitable as a home office (WiFi available).
