Guest house holiday rentals in Washington

it is probably smart to call the Club Wyndham to understand the unit that you are assigned. I booked a 1bdrm and was assigned a 2bdrm (which was actually two apartments, each with 1 bdrm, kitchen, bath and living room). I never used one of the units and would have shared with a friend if I understood the layout ahead of time. great location walking distance to the blue/yellow Metro line, only a couple of stops from National Airport.

I can't say enough great things about my stay. The interior space is very clean and spacious and the exterior surroundings are so peaceful, quiet, and beautiful, surrounded by nature . The fenced in yard was a treat for my dog who safely enjoyed roaming freely through its landscape as I watched him from the screen porch. Martha and John are great communicators, who made our check in seamless and they catered to us with extra treats like a dog bowl for my dog, delicious red wine, and snacks. There is kitchenette area with a small fridge, Kurig, microwave and some essentials. Similar to what you might find in a hotel room. It was enough for what we needed. There are some great international cuisine Restaurants nearby. My favorite was Mimi's Kabobs & Pizza. The neighborhood has many beautiful horse farms and the area feels safe and friendly. I was visiting for a seminar and it was exactly what I was looking for: dog friendly, private, clean, and safe. I definitely plan to stay again.

Ken and Nicole are great hosts! The place is a standalone building, which is quiet and private. It is also very clean! The kitchenette is useful for cooking your own meals and has plenty of pots/pans and dishware. Public transit is plentiful for getting into downtown DC. Checkin was the most convenient and flexible! I really appreciated the early checkin and late checkout. If you are flying in early and flying out late, it really is a game changer. Overall I highly recommend Ken and Nicole's place. If it is available when I come back to DC, I will definitely book again!

Place is well located, close to metro station. You can easliy get from here to all main atracttions in Washington. Moreover, place has a perfect connection with Dulles Airport. Room and bathroom were clean, kitchen is well equipped. Host is nice person. It's good place to stay!

This is our second stay with Monica and we returned because the place is beautiful and the hospitality great. Monica is super responsive and easy to work with. We had to make adjustments in our travel dates and Monica was flexible, prompt and accommodating in her responses. She also checks in during our stay and responds quickly to any concerns. Finally, this beautiful, quiet place helps to balance and restore your energy after dealing with the hectic pace of the D.C. area. Five stars in all areas.

I was in town for a month for less than pleasant reasons, but having this space to come home to and relax every night was a blessing. The host was very communicative and made checking in a breeze. Very comfy bed!

I have stayed here a few times and not only is it a great apartment but she is an amazing host and always looks out for her guests. Looking forward to staying here again.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb in Rockville, MD! The location was fantastic—situated in a very walkable neighborhood with lots of shops nearby and three playgrounds within walking distance. It was ideal for both kids and adults alike. The home itself was spacious and comfortable, easily accommodating our family of five for a week. The layout provided plenty of room for everyone to relax and feel at home. As dog owners, we especially appreciated the ample space for our furry friends to run around. Although one of their dogs didn’t get along with ours, the hosts made it easy to restrict access, so it wasn’t an issue during our stay. Overall, this Airbnb offered a great combination of comfort, convenience, and family-friendly features. We’d happily stay here again!

I was in Jen's place for a month while working in the nearby Folger Shakespeare Library and had a fabulous stay. The location is absolutely amazing with very high walkability and easy connections to a host of things nearby: the Mall, Union Market, Eastern Market, H street cafes and restaurants. The space has been very thoughtfully arranged and well appointed. Jen was a communicative and positive host throughout. Would highly recommend.

Perfection! “The most elegant place we have stayed,” says my partner. This is our first choice whenever we visit the area. We have stayed three times, all lovely. The architecture is just exceptional, with great light and a sense of openness yet privacy. Every detail is seen to. Fabulous & charming host family. We look forward to returning!

The apartment, above the detached garage, was light and airy. It’s very new and tastefully outfitted, particularly the brass accents in all rooms. The keyless entry is very much appreciated. We were visiting family who lived three blocks away, so the location was perfect.

Alma's spot was conveniently located close to all the places we needed to be in DC! Not a complaint in sight.

Excellent stay! Just the right size for my husband and me over the Thanksgiving weekend. The guesthouse is well-appointed and attractive, with a sitting area and kitchen space with a small fridge, coffeemaker and microwave. The bed is very comfortable, and the spacious bathroom has an amazing shower. Despite being in a fairly densely-populated urban area, the apartment felt very private, quiet and peaceful. Conveniently located close to downtown Silver Spring and its restaurants, shops, and easy access to the Metro. Alice was responsive and friendly. We would definitely stay again!

I enjoyed my stay at the beautiful carriage house in the Shaw neighborhood. It was a perfect spot to work from during the day — Wi-Fi was strong and there’s a cute little office nook. And it’s close to transit for exploring DC!Chris was a welcoming and friendly host, very responsive. A few things to note: the kitchen includes a dishwasher, stove, fridge, and microwave. However it’s not outfitted for cooking full meals. There’s also construction happening directly outside — in my experience, from the hours of ~8am-5pm, inclusive of Saturday. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Great apartment in a convenient and walkable spot in Falls Church! This was my second time staying here, the first time was nearly 2 years ago. The space and host were excellent both times! Hans was responsive and helpful. The apartment is comfortable, clean, and well stocked. I would definitely stay here again!

This is our 3rd stay with Farida. Her garden suite is lovely and looks exactly like the pictures. The space and clean comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet. A short walk to many restaurants, the metro and the zoo, make this a special spot if you are looking in this area.

Whether you’re traveling by yourself or with someone, if you’re looking to stay in Alexandria for a few days, I highly recommend staying here!

Alex’s place is a great jumping off point for spending time in DC. I particularly enjoyed being able to walk around the neighborhood and test out some of the local restaurants. Having a washer and dryer was a big bonus too.
