We had a very nice weekend stay here. One of the highlights was seeing a family of six deer hanging out across the marsh. The hosts were proactive and very responsive. We will come again sometime for sure.

The Barndo is a true gem! If you like what you see on the listing you won't be disappointed. The kitchen is fully equipped and totally functional, the wood stove and sauna are both well maintained, the bedrooms are cozy and comfortable, and the bathroom, office space and living area are exactly what you need them to be. The space is clean, charming, nicely decorated and I appreciated the attention to detail and quality throughout. Cathy seems to have thought of everything, and has created an easy, peaceful space that makes for a perfectly comfortable stay. We're already planning our next trip!

This place is a true find! We went there with 10 women looking for a weekend of laughter and relaxation and we got exactly what we wanted. The fire pit, hot tub, sauna, and decks were beautiful and comfortable, even in November. The interior easily slept 10 of us. The kitchen was fully stocked with what we needed to prepare great food. The living area was big and suitable for a large group. Our favourite place was the big table where we sat and talked, played games, had a few drinks, and laughed. The place was as we expected it to be and we had no issues. We definitely would come back again!

We agree with all the other great reviews of this place. This is an “end of the road” kind of place. No amenities such as pizzas, bars and so on. Instead you get a profound sense of place once you're here. . People who come here aren’t just passing through they’re here to connect with nature and others. We were there during the off season and really enjoyed the peacefulness, canoeing to the waterfall, doing some fishing and sitting on the sunlit porch overlooking the bay. The hosts of this airbnb , Darrnel and Mike, give it character. They were very genuine and thoughtful in their desire to make sure everything was going well and to ensure that we were having a good time. We can't thank them enough for making our time there so memorable. A big thank you to both of you.
