A peaceful jungle retreat with all the essentials We had a lovely stay at this beautiful jungle home, surrounded by nature and wildlife – we saw plenty of iguanas during the day and even spotted a couple of scorpions and a small snake at night (to be expected given the location, but worth noting!). The house is compact but well-equipped with everything you need. Facilities are excellent, and the space was more than adequate for a comfortable stay. Despite some previous reviews, we did have hot water – the shower handle is just reversed, so turn it to “cold” for hot! There were a few power outages during our stay, which is fairly common in the area. One outage lasted several hours, so keep that in mind when stocking up the fridge. Our host was fantastic – super responsive and helpful throughout. That said, an information booklet covering things like the shower, local amenities, and how to manage during power cuts would have been really helpful and saved a few messages. The bed shee

Wonderful area. Have been in the area to holiday, for many years. Had a few hiccups with the house but Iván had it rectified right away. Great little casa.

We really enjoyed the place, the layout, the green surroundings but also landscaping with mature trees. And the cat!
