Holiday rentals with lake access in Aquitaine

We had a great time! The place was superb: beautiful, clean, and totally as described. The host was very responsive and thoughtful, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The place is quiet and peaceful, perfect for resting, and we enjoyed the little walks around. We would recommend it without hesitation and will be back with pleasure!

We had a perfect family time, the house is very nice and extremely well-equipped. Impeccable cleanliness, everything is planned to have a good time without constraints (bed linen, towels, shower products, board games, dishes, dishwasher tablets, tissues ...). Anne-Marie was flexible so we could make the most of it. The period did not lend itself to enjoying the outdoors but we do not doubt that with the sunny days, the stay is even better! Only small improvements possible: the capacity of the fridge (but already taken into account it seems) and maybe isolate the sleeping area a little on the landing upstairs (noise level and privacy). That didn't stop us from totally appreciating this pretty renovated house, which we highly recommend with family or friends!

The house exceeded what was stated in the advert and Charlene and Jann were brilliant hosts. They were super responsive and always willing to help - they gave us phone numbers and responded within minutes if we had a question. The house felt like a real luxurious stay and the location was perfect for both Lacanau Lake and also Lacanau Ocean. There were great beach spots within 5 minutes drive as well as supermarkets and Lacanau Ocean town really close. The lake was a 2 minute walk too. The house was brilliant for a family with kids and we used the pool and outside seating areas all the time. We loved it and would definitely stay again.

Located in the heart of a haven of peace, the house is very well-equipped and in particular the kitchen which is particularly pleasant. Sabine is a warm and welcoming host. It's ideal for a break in the heart of nature.

The accommodation is exactly as described, the place is beautiful with the river at the foot of the garden of the house. There are plenty of walks to do The welcome is perfect, we thank Benoît's parents along the way. We'll be back a little longer with pleasure. I highly recommend it.

We were there at the end of September, unfortunately we could not use the beautiful terrace due to the weather. For hikes and cyclists, the area is great, as there are many cycling and walking routes. If you want to look at the wider area, you have to drive a lot. Example Cap Ferret 1h 10 min. Bordeaux 40 km, duration approx. 1 h. 15 min.

Very nice welcome and communication. Zoe offered us useful addresses in the area, the welcome was warm. The accommodation is as expected, atypical, quiet on this private property. Obviously the room for people of 1.80 m like me is not the most convenient but it is also the charm of the place. The accommodation was clean, the amenities mentioned are present (towels, coffee, wood for the stove, etc ...). A place to recommend for a quiet stay. Thanks for the stay 😊

We had a great time at Régine's house which is very well equipped and located in a very quiet environment 2 steps from the lake. Relax and rest assured. Thanks to Régine for her smile and kindness.

Laurent's apartment was perfect for 4 people for a week. Everything has been tastefully refurbished and quality products, which is rare in the ski resort. The location is ideal, 2 steps from the center, the free shuttle passes at the entrance of the residence, which avoids taking the car or walking with ski equipment. There is even a garage available as needed. We'll be happy to rent again.

Coming for work, very quiet place, welcoming host, the house was heated before I arrived. I highly recommend the accommodation.

We’ve just spent an amazing 7 days at Charlotte and Damien’s place. The apartment is beautiful and a good size for a group for 6 like we were. The location is perfect. Super close to bike rental so you can pick them up and soon learn your way around the area. It’s just a perfect base to surf, cycle, explore the stunning Hossegor town. We didn’t use the spa but it’s good to have the option. Also both hosts replied to a lot of messages when we had trouble with our flights to and from. The only improvement would be to have more basic amenities provided - things like black bin bags or toilet paper, but apart from this we loved our time here and was sad to leave. Merci!

I know very well Hossegor and the accommodation is so well located. So please with it and we have been very well received. Thanks a lot for Denise and Julien. We will go back.

Barbara is a very welcoming host, flexible on schedules. The apartment is ideal, located less than 5 minutes walk from the train station and the city center. Very well equipped and tastefully decorated, we had a great stay!

We were welcomed by Marie-Jo who is a very friendly and caring person. His advice allowed us to optimize our short 3 day stay. The apartment is well located and perfectly equipped. We were able to enjoy breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea lake... a real delight! I would recommend it in a second!

We have just spent a very relaxing 2 weeks at Naomi's lovely gite. The property itself was very clean and comfortable and had everything that we needed; we especially liked the covered terrace off the kitchen and the pool area. The gite is in a very peaceful, secluded location but within easy reach of plenty of picturesque bastide towns. The closest, Villeréal, is only a 10 minute drive away and has plenty of cafes, restaurants and food shops as well as weekly markets and evening food markets - it was really lovely. Naomi and her family are fantastic hosts - very welcoming, helpful and friendly. A great holIday let!

We just finished our stay . Amazing stay. A small nests housed in peaceful and beautiful nature. It is a place that I really recommend for nature lovers, trees , birdsong and ponds really bring extraordinary peace. For our greatest pleasure, we even managed to catch fish . We had a warm welcome, it was a really nice meeting.

Absolutely perfect! You can go there without so much as a second thought! The accommodation is beautiful and peaceful, it has everything you need to enjoy. There are also beautiful villages to visit nearby. Go for it! In addition, Cyril is very responsive and welcoming. Highly recommend 😁

The accommodation is lovely. We really enjoyed the bikes available. The arrival at night was not very simple but we had a very pleasant stay.

The Lake Cottage is a haven of tranquility to recharge your batteries, the wild but very harmoniously neat nature is idyllic. Jodi and Jim know how to be available while being very discreet and available. A big THANK YOU for the warm welcome, the fresh vegetables, the welcome basket with the local specialties, the stove prepared to be lit if needed, the beds made and...even the litter box! for our Minette who immediately felt at home outside as in the house so cozy. We treasure this atypical stay and already the daily and private vision of the lake, the squirrels, the deer and especially the sweet nighttime hoist of the owl....Thank you Jodi for everything and also for this joie de vivre that radiates!
