Cabin holiday rentals in Arendal Municipality

Everything was really good, everything from information before booking to good communication during and after the stay. The cabin was super cozy, spacious and had everything we needed. You felt at home and the spa bath in front of the lake was used frequently by adults and children. Lovely place! Would definitely recommend booking here.

Excellent location near a cove with good posibility for bathing. A good layout of the house and good facilities (internet, laundrymachine and TV). Excellent communiction with host On the downside you have to suffer toilet/bath in separate annex and the crooked floors and low ceilings. But they are minor details

Absolutely fantastic place! We just love it! It's the second summer in a row we've had at this lovely place in Charlotte's cabin. And we would love to come again. There aren't really words for how peaceful and lovely it is. Bonfires, swimming, fishing, relaxing, family time. The simple life and the best of the best!

Probably the most beautiful place we ever booked. The cabin is something really special, privately placed into a spectacular landscape. It has everything you need for a wonderful retreat, the fireplace, jacuzzi and private fjord access are only some of the highlights. Andreas was the perfect host, welcoming us with fresh coffee and showing us around. He went above and beyond to make our stay just perfect with helpful and responsive instructions. Absolutely recommended.

We, a family of 5, had a great stay. We arrived after midnight, because of a late boat arrival, and Dag was there to welcome us and show us the house. It isn't a very big house but everything was there and functioning and everything was very tidy and clean. The house is somewhat isolated, which gives you a a lot of privacy. Would come there again 100%!

Lars-Ivar has been an amazing host and the cabin was absolutely cozy, modern and clean. Nothing was missing at all. We are happy that we stayed there and would love to come back.

Cecilie's place was so lovely. She warned us it was difficult to find, and it was, even with her proactive instructions. It was so worth it once we got there. It is incredibly private and peaceful. I would warn anyone who may be disabled, injured, or not up to a hike, that there is a bit of a walk up to the house and the rock is quite slick in the rain. It was so worth it for the views though. Cecilie was communicative the whole time and left clear instructions. I would definitely stay again!

We've had a week at Frødi's lovely cabin. And we're super excited about our stay. It has given our family the perfect summer vacation. At Frødis, you live safely and in the best settings you can imagine. The cabin is located high and has absolutely stunning views. Sitting and looking out over the water from the terrace is like a living painting. Totally unique. We also borrowed Frødi's boat, which is a short walk down by the gang. Borrowing the boat opened a lot of opportunities in the archipelago. The boat was easy to operate and we had some great trips in it. And Frødis is absolutely sweet and nice. Had made a very nice description of both cabin and area. And was very kind to communicate with. All in all, we can only highly recommend the cabin, where we are already talking about returning. We hope that everyone who borrows the cabin will take good care of it. It's unique to be able to spend your holiday such a lovely place. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nina and Morten are very friendly and excellent hosts with fantastic accommodation. They prepared the cabin (clean & tidy) and welcomed us during the self-check-in with a few treats and drinks. We felt very welcome right away. The cabin is well-equipped (towels, extra blankets, fully equipped kitchen). The area is somewhat secluded on an "island" (two bridges) and quiet, close to nature. We observed deer/stags in the distance or encountered them on the driveway. Once, a fawn was even 3m away from the window in the garden, grazing :-). We also rented a boat from Nina&Morten. The communication with them was exemplary. Morten kindly showed us the boat on-site and gave us a briefing. They also provided a life jacket for our child! You can navigate safely through the fjords, fishing and swimming or even go shopping by boat ;). If we had any questions, both hosts were always reachable and consistently offered help. We had a great time in Norway. Thanks for allowing us to use the cabin:-)!

Lovely house! Very peaceful area but with proximity to the town of Arendal. The private garden and dock with bathing ladder is just amazing. We really enjoyed our stay and Ståle was a very helpful host. Highly recommended! We will definitely come back.

The cabin is absolutely top notch, we were 2 adults with youngsters! Modern, large, bright cottage , great terrace with sun from morning to evening. Lovely sea view. Nice both in the sun and rain. Quiet cabin area in an incredibly good location. We thoroughly enjoyed the rowboat. Lots of nice swimming areas nearby.

The house is a great located and a lovely spot to relax. We had a fantastic time! The communication with Mathias was very good. We would love to come back one time.

Great stay in beautiful surroundings! The only thing I put 4 stars on was for check-in since there is no parking space at the house itself, but other than this, there is a full score at all points. Well maintained, clean and nice bathroom, toilet and kitchen, and not least a great location right by the sea. Nice and helpful host also pulls up. Highly recommend. Would love to have spent more time there another time!

Ida and Sven's lodge is a truly amazing place! Incredibly private and peaceful, with south facing views overlooking the sea, our family (2x adults, 1 six year old, 2x teenagers) had a very restful week, swimming in the sea, BBQing, reading, boards games etc. The rooms are tastefully designed, the kitchen is very well appointed and the lodge is decorated with Ida and Sven's personal things that make it feel personal and homely. But not cluttered and plenty of space to unpack your things. We used the kayakes and rowing boat, and were offered the motor boat (which we did not use in the end), and went around the bay, seeing very few other people over the course of the week. This very special week will be lodged in my memory for a long time.

We immediately felt at home in Anes large, clean and tastefully decorated summer house with a nice new bathroom and a very practical kitchen that contains everything you need (and much more than that!). Check-in via the lockbox was easy and communication with Ane very pleasant. Ane responded quickly to our inquiries. The detailed information about the holiday home, access, garbage disposal, internet, beaches, sights, hiking areas, dining at Fevik, in Arendal and Grimstad, etc. was also good! And there was also the view from the living room window and terrace facing Store and Lille Torungen lighthouse room, towards islets, the sea gap and old trees. We were so lucky and only had one rainy day during our six day stay and thus enjoyed the large, sunny terrace and flat (without access!) that can be found almost around the whole house. We would love to stay here another week and would love to come back in a year! In short: a great place to relax and enjoy life! Thanks, let's go! Anja & Trygve

We fell in love with the house and location with view of the bay, islands and the harbour close to Grimstad. The house felt cosy, modern, warm. With a variety of seating area’s outside as well. We could not get enough of the views into the bay. The costal area is full with small little towns with white wooden houses, little harbour. We dit a variaty of activities, all within max 30 min drive. Thomas was a great host. We would love to return!
