The house was beautiful with a very small walk to the beach, very well equipped kitchen and proactive friendly hosts who provided a generous amount of towels and cloths.

We had an amazing stay at hot water beach this summer. The property was beautiful and right on the beach, couldn’t ask for much more. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Fabulous place a short walk away from the beach. The house itself is great (even better than the photos), it’s private, very spacious and has everything you need. There is also a golf course and a great restaurant just around the corner. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

It was a beautiful location! You can watch the sunset from the house itself. Highly recommend the place. The neighbour was very nice and helpful as well.

The home is in a calm, quiet street but within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. It is an easy place to enjoy quiet time at home in, with a large living room and outside places to sit and relax and enjoy the beautiful views. Our host was immediately attentive and very helpful at all times, especially when issues arose from our airline. The home was incredibly clean and stocked with everything we needed to start out with, including a guide to all necessary local amenities. We enjoyed our stay there so much, and I highly recommend anyone thinking of renting here to do so. (Oh - and try the little breakfast/lunch cafe that is about two minute’s walk away; it was so good we returned to it many times.) This home is the perfect place from which to enjoy Auckland and the surrounding areas!

Deborah was lovely! Very welcoming and helpful. I absolutely loved my stay here. I’d happily move in tomorrow 😅 Such a beautiful spot! It certainly exceeded my expectations. The house has lovely feel to it. Lots of windows and natural light. Overlooking natural bush and the ocean. A short walk to a lovely beach. And the star gazing at night is incredible. I was a bit nervous about the whole solar thing and travelling to a secluded island on my own, but Deborah was very welcoming, helpful and informative, which quickly put my mind at ease. Thank you for hosting me in your beautiful home. I’ll definitely be back again soon 😊🙏✌️🫶✨

Comfortable and homely……peaceful location. Secure and spacious off road parking. Lovely basket of welcoming food treats was a nice surprise.

Lorraine and John were wonderful and responsive hosts. They were ready with local recommendations. Their place was also serene and private. The locality was also very beautiful and felt safe. All our needs were well anticipated and met.
