Our farmhouse is situated at the famous black forest western hiking trail and on a hill with views overlooking three countries. Our guest room offers a small kitchen unit with a fridge where our guests can prepare breakfast and cold meals. There is no water supply in the bedroom but in the spacious bathroom opposite. You can find restaurants from vegan, traditional to haute cusine within a less than a mile. There are buses to Basel, Lörrach and Kandern. By car it takes 20 minutes to Basel.

Pfaffenberg is a small village at 700 meters above sea level above the Wiesen Valley with proximity to Switzerland and France. Our Black Forest house with a south-facing location offers up to three guests a cozy stay. The border triangle allows a variety of cultural and sporting leisure activities. I have traveled a lot myself, speak good German, English, French, Spanish and a little Italian and am always very happy about guests from near and far.

Thanks to its ideal location, the borders to Switzerland and France are only 10 kilometers away and therefore perfect for a break on a journey. Despite the proximity to the highway exit, the property is quiet and the train station of the village is within walking distance, so that travelers without a car are mobile. Quietly located but sufficiently central in the Markgräflerland at the foot of the Black Forest. 2 minutes to nature, the bus stop or a shopping facility; 5 minutes to Müllheim. The border triangle offers a wide range of activities related to nature (Black Forest, vineyards, Rhine plain, ...), culture (wine, theater, museums,...), cuisine and sights of all three countries.

Beautiful fully furnished attic apartment (80 m²) with balcony and large roof terrace with views of the forests. In the kitchen, the basic equipment such as spices (vinegar, oil, salt, pepper...), dish towels, detergent and various cleaning agents are available. A Senseo coffee maker and a Sodastream (for making sparkling water), are available. In the converted attic there is a hammock and a chaise longue to relax.

The cozy, newly renovated attic apartment is located on the 2nd floor. The house is right on the stream. From the balcony you can see meadows, garden, stream and Black Forest mountains. Münstertal offers many opportunities for hiking on the Belchen or Schauinsland mountains.Hiking trails right at your doorstep. Mountain biking is popular in the Black Forest. Ski lifts can be reached in less than 30 minutes.
