The accommodation is located in a newly renovated part of a barn with floor heating in all rooms and a new fully-tiled bathroom and kitchen. Gekås can be reached in 25 minutes by car, the coast with swimming and surfing and Varberg's city center is 20 minutes away. Several golf courses are in the vicinity and Knektagården's Dog Boarding is a few minutes away. Social cats and sheep are in the yard.

One of the last 20 houses with a thatched roof. The house was renovated in 2019 with new underfloor heating, electricity, water and drainage. The windows have been scraped off for paint and repainted with linseed oil paint. We have preserved so much of the old from the house and recycled kitchen cabinets partially, benches and panels from Vesterø church etc. The previous owner's things are also reused, especially pictures. Converted stable, many handmade details restored 2010-15 with fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and 5 beds + sofa bed. Fantastic mill with history from the 16th century. In the kitchen there is a dishwasher, induction stovetop, oven and microwave, fridge/freezer. In the small TV room there is a smart TV. Upstairs, there was a carpentry workshop that is now a modern TV room with Wi-Fi, amplifier, Chromecast, speaker system and projector. The shower is in the basement. The balcony facing the sheep meadow has garden furniture and a spa bath. Wood stove in the kitchen. Sauna is available.
