Beachfront holiday rentals in Bowers

We were a group of 10 and spent Thanksgiving week with our kids and grandkids at Paul's place. The house was perfect with plenty of space, nice furnishings and comfortable beds. It was walkable to the beach, boardwalk and restaurants. The weather cooperated and we spent time walking, sitting and playing football on the beach. The kitchen was so well equipped with everything we needed to prepare Thanksgiving dinner. We appreciated the perfect place for our family to gather for Thanksgiving! Thanks Paul

Coral Cottage afforded us a dearly needed getaway with our two pups on very short notice. It's spacious and sunny backyard was a perfect place to relax. It's a stones throw from the beach. Perfect for long walks on the Bay. The cottage itself is spacious and the kitchen well equipped. Looking forward to our next visit.

Well equipped house within very short walking distance to quite, private beach. Great amenities -- including bikes, kayak and paddle board. Private beach was gorgeous and very dog friendly, water was calm and shallow. Short driving distance to Lewes for great food, including terrific crabs.

We had an excellent stay in Cape May with our pup. The beach house is private and the surrounding is peaceful. We love watching the sunset every day. Lots to do and see around Cape May. Don’t forget to visit both wineries: Cape May Winery and Willow Brook Winery. Great for a nice long lunch with a glass of wine.

Lovely, calming place and location! Place is as shown, and you can hear the ocean and watch sunrise from one of the bedrooms. The front porch was great for relaxing and reading. The fenced yard perfect for our dog; she had so much fun sniffing the ocean air and playing ball. The house is in a quieter part of town, but a 10 min easy walk via beach or boardwalk to shops and restaurants. We misread the kitchenette description: there are no pots/pans for cooking, but making toast or reheating leftovers was easy (and there was also a BBQ grill). Place was clean, and Carol was a great host. Would love to stay again!

This condo was in a great location. Steps to the pool and right on the beach! The place was beautifully decorated in a beachy theme. It was clean. The beds were very comfortable. Across from a grocery store and had a variety of restaurants within walking distance. Would love to book this place again!

A haven of peace right next to the sea. Very clean and big enough for 6 people. My boys loved the pool and the pickelball court. Finally, there are plenty of activities to do in this city and the condo is close to everything. We will come back for sure ☺️

Umi and Bill were wonderful hosts. Everything was exactly as described, great communication, very clear instructions, lots of recommendations, a full book layed out very clearly with sections of anything you would want to know about the area, what to do, restaurants they recommended. The unit was pristine, had everything we could have needed & then some and offered an amazing view of the ocean. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at any of Umi and Bill's properties in the future and I look forward to staying with them again!

This is a lovely home in a peaceful and safe neighborhood, perfect for families. We would stay again! It really is just steps to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and supplies to prepare meals. Everything was in working condition. The pool is beautiful! I loved the lights at night. The entire pool area is gated and locked, good to know for little ones. The shower had great water pressure. The outdoor shower has hot water too! The TV was very easy to use and had many options. Of note, the entire upstairs could accommodate a second family with a mini fridge, half bathroom, two beds, separate entrance, sofa/tv/table/patio - the photos really don’t do this home justice. I was very impressed when I walked inside. My kids LOVED the adorable spiral staircase to get upstairs! We had no problems with it, but it would be hard to keep little climbers off of it. The master bedroom is downstairs, something to consider with littles that wake up in the night and need to get down.

The place was optimum for our mini vacay. We absolutely loved the area, it was peaceful and relaxing and the amenities were just right. Jaqueline remained open and available for communication and was very clear in her expectations of us as guest. Definitely 5 Stars!

10/10 beach home for family and friends. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed at a better Airbnb. Highly recommend staying here.

We stayed at Jen's beautiful condo for the holidays. This is a stunning condo and location. We loved it so much, we extended our stay and Jen was great about that and a flexible checkout. Enjoy your morning coffee on the spacious deck enjoying magnificent sunrises. You'll have everything needed to prepare meals. I have to note how exceptionally clean the unit is. Very professionally run by Jen. Thank you for hosting us.

We loved the location - right next to beach, quiet walk to Nature preserve. I would echo that the spiral staircase needs to be factored in to your stay - my petite 91 year old aunt did better than my 65 year old big footed brother. Games, puzzles, laundry and pool were an added bonus as were the two porches. All in all a fabulous stay.

Deborah's place is so peaceful and quiet. You are literally ON THE BAY. Every window has a view. I spent my time walking and staring at the water. With the sliding doors open, you can hear the waves. HEAVEN. Important to note: You are on a beach with only several houses — adjacent to a coastal preserve. It's a private beach. This is not your typical beach town location. This is exactly why it's so delightful and perfect. The house was super clean, beds were comfy, kitchen was well-stocked. I almost don't want anyone to know how great it is. Ha! This was a fantastic spring break location for our two small small families with dogs in tow. It is early season so the outdoor spaces were not fully setup but the hot tub was amazing and the dog friendly beach was VERY close and often felt like our own private waterfront. Overall, a wonderful and relaxing getaway.

This was our 2nd year staying here. It was another fantastic stay. It's so nice being so close to the beach to see the sunrise every morning and then also go out at night under the stars. Katie is so nice and accommodating. We can't wait to stay again next year.

Shelley's little vacation cabin was very comfortable, clean, and cozy. We stayed only one night and didn't get a chance to enjoy the deck and the view, but they looked great! Easy driving distance from Cape May. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic beach getaway. The home was clean and comfortable with extra room even bigger than the pictures. The views were spectacular and the deck actually is accessible from so many places. The directions for keyless entry were clear, but when I wasn’t understanding them the hosts responded immediately and we got in within moments. Comfortable beds and plenty of things in the kitchen - can opener, coffee maker and wine opener as well as things like cutting board and baking sheets. Fridge is huge and there’s tons of ice. Definitely would recommend.

Our family of four just had our first stay near Cape May, and Megan's cottage exceeded all our expectations! The photos don’t quite capture the charm and elegance of the space; everything from the furnishings to the thoughtful details and amenities feels like a 5-Star experience. The outdoor area is a true highlight! The fenced-in yard was a fantastic perk for our fur dogs, who were warmly welcomed by Megan with a “buddy stick” holder and extra water bowls, a thoughtful touch! We slept like royalty on the comfortable memory foam mattresses, and the sheets and towels were luxuriously soft. I also appreciated the range of toiletries available when my son realized he forgot his toothbrush, there were plenty to choose from! The Smart TVs were a delightful addition for cozy movie nights after a day at the beach, along with some competitive games of Corn Hole and Jenga. The Solo fire pit and café lights created a magical atmosphere at Megan’s beach cottage and backyard oasis; we will return!

I have stayed at a lot of air bnb’s and this stay was my favorite yet. Ashlee was wonderful, very thoughtful and responsive. The house was exactly what it looked like in pictures. It was spotless and so clean! The views were stunning, from every window you see water. We enjoyed this stay so much we are planning on returning in the future.

One of the best airbnb's we've ever stayed in! Our group consisted of two sisters, their kids (13, 10 and 1.5) and a grandma and the place was absolutely perfect for all our needs. The beautiful rooms and deck are exactly as pictured, the place was exceptionally clean and the decor struck the perfect balance of beauty, function and comfort for all involved. The staircase was solid and carpeted so Grandma had no problems on it and the owners were kind enough to supply a baby gate so the toddler stayed in the room downstairs with her mom and we never needed to worry about her. All the beds have comfortable, new memory foam mattresses and there were extra pillows, blankets and towels at every turn. The whole place even smelled nice with a subtle air freshener. The owners were extremely accessible and thoughtful and reached out with restaurant recommendations in the weeks leading up to our stay. We loved the place and hope to come back next year!
