“Loved our stay here. We love Bynum! Beautiful, cozy, absolutely perfect space. Wonderful neighbors. Creative designs and beautiful accents inside the living space. We would love to visit again. Bryan cooked two delicious breakfasts this weekend and we had grilled cheese sandwiches one night! Perfect. Kitchen had all we needed for cooking. Thank you for stopping by and chatting. We would love to stay again.”
This serene home on a half-acre offers a haven away from the city for those needing a place to pause, nest, and rest. Sip tea on one of three porches, sit under the grand oak tree, and enjoy the heart-of-pine wood floors, modern kitchen, upstairs bedroom suite, ultra-comfortable beds, and all the conveniences for an easeful stay. Located in the tiny, charming town of Bynum, this one-of-a-kind house offers the chance to reset, with nature trails and the Haw River just outside the front door.
“The house is so beautiful and homey. It’s like we stepped into Pinterest. I want Anna to decorate my home. The only downside was the kitchen sink wouldn’t drain— but she quickly had it taken care of! I would definitely go back, especially in the summer to take advantage of the porches, and river activities. Couldn’t ask for a better space to spend time with some of my favorite people. It definitely added to our experience.”
This newly remodeled home is on 4 wooded acres in Pittsboro. It is one mile from Chatham Park, and close to the downtown shops and restaurants. It is convenient to drive to Jordan Lake, Fearrington Village, Chaple Hill, Apex, and Cary. Chatham County is one of the fastest growing in the state, but Pittsboro retains it's historic and eclectic roots. We are pet-friendly, with a fenced in backyard.
“My family spent a week at Alice’s place during the holidays so we could visit my large extended family. She was a good communicator and the festive Christmas decorations made us feel very welcome. What we loved most: •Spacious home, especially the kitchen •Sparkling clean! •Plentiful towels •Well-stocked basic supplies •Quiet neighborhood •Dark night skies for good sleeping! •Wooded property with fenced-in area for our dog •Close to downtown Pittsboro •Easy communication with hosts •An excellent notebook with local tips and history •Recycling and compost bins We were visited by the neighbor’s goats, which we enjoyed. They seemed to really appreciate the apple slices we shared. :) Pittsboro stores and restaurants are conveniently located nearby, so next time we may bring bikes and leave our car parked! We definitely recommend Alice’s place and we’ll likely stay again!”
