Holiday rentals with a home cinema in Capital District, New York

It is a beautifully laid out space. Two very large rooms. What I enjoyed most about it was that it seemed designed to ensure the guests were comfortable. Fresh fruit and water were there for our arrival. The whole experience was more than I expected.

Our family stayed here for a mini getaway. There's loads to due near this property (within a ten minute drive) for kids and adults alike. The rain spoiled some of our outside plans which was more than OK with us because Dillon's place was so CLEAN, comfortable, quiet, well maintained/cared for, and roomy. We stayed in and BBQ'ed on the provided gas grill, built a fire in the provided fire pit, and roasted marshmallows/s'mores (provided by the wonderful host as well). We went to the Blueberry Hill restaurant for breakfast (one of many suggestions in Dillon's well put together guidebook) and the food was FABULOUS! Great job Dillon! You're the epitome of hospitality! We look forward to another stay!

Perfect getaway for the weekend. Quiet, beautiful view, and all of the accommodations were just as described/expected.

Close to Hunter mountain and plenty of space and beds for a big group!

Very nice stay. Myra and Jerry are wonderful hosts. They communicated well, gave clear directions to arrive, their place is lovely and exactly as described. While this would not be a suitable location for a person who has ADA mobility limitations due to steps inside and outside, they were not an issue for my wife who has some walking limits. The exterior steps are shallow and the railing is solid. Inside there is a single step up to the bathroom. The views out to the east are amazing. Inside, the place is spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. It is in the basement of their home, but the house is on a hill side with the rental unit open to the outdoors. The location is rural, so a car is needed to go to nearby shopping and restaurants. We would stay here again.

The home was beautiful and peaceful for the whole family and conveniently located for our ski trip. Highly recommend! Our host was helpful and accommodating. We will definitely rent this space again!

Had a relaxing trip at this Airbnb! The place’s kitchen was stocked with great kitchenware allowing us to cook complex meal. The outside deck was perfect for enjoying the weather. Loved the theatre room, it is actually a lot bigger than it looks in the pictures!

We loved this beautifully decorated home. When we arrived the wood-burning stove and hot tub were already on! It was a very welcoming environment and very close to great barrington, MA and Hudson, NY. We would love to come back and spend either a winter or summer holiday here.

My friends and I had a great weekend here! The host was very friendly and responsive throughout our stay. The house is just a short drive from grocery stores and the City of Hudson. Highly recommended!

This Airbnb deserves 5 stars across the board in every category. This home was the perfect stay for a group of friends or family to getaway and relax for a weekend (or longer). We stayed here during the winter, but everyone loved it so much we were saying how we should come back in the Summer! The entire house is so comfy! The couches, chairs, blankets etc just made it such a nice relaxing stay. Also the arcade / movie theater basement was so much fun!!! We really loved that there were smart TVs in every room that could be logged into whatever streaming service you prefer. Also the bathrooms were immaculate, absolute dream bathroom near the master bedroom. I would also love to mention the mudroom, this house has a no shoes policy which is super easy when they have a beautiful roomy entry way with HEATED FLOORS. William and Giselle have really focused on the little details in each and every room and it really shows. Thank you again for an amazing stay.

I had a magical 30th birthday weekend with a group of friends. The house is stunning and provides more than enough spaces for gathering and sleeping. We loved sitting on the front porch, relaxing by the wood burning stove, having dinner party at the huge dining room table, and star gazing on the pristine property. The house is even better than we imagined from the pictures. It is close to Hudson, Catskills, and wonderful hiking - making for the perfect fall escape from the city. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful stay at the Red Cottage. The house is impeccably decorated and so, cozy. We could have stayed in the house and never left the entire weekend, it was *that* comfortable. The beds alone... oh my goodness..heaven. The house is off a main road, but it has an expansive backyard and still feels secluded. We were even visited by a huge flock of wild turkeys one afternoon. It's located near some beautiful hiking and several waterfalls and also close to Hudson where there is shopping and restaurants. It was the perfect autumn getaway with the most spectacular fall foliage. The team that handles the bookings is also very responsive and helpful. 10 out of 10!
