There are historic towns to explore nearby, and the river Vienne is a short walk through the village.

Old water mill, built in 1850. Many of the original features of the mill have been left & been used to create a place of charm & character. Situated on a twelve acre lake, within a listed & protected zone by Natura 2000. You can eat your breakfast on the terrace next to the lake, in a very beautiful & tranquil setting. The only noise here comes from the birds, wildlife & the sheep in the surrounding fields. Owner lives on site in adjacent farm house. Many local bars & excellent restaurants.

The building is over 200 years old and has been completely refurbished in 2024. This idyllic French stone house can sleep up to five people. It has two bedrooms, a large living room with a woodburner, a fitted kitchen with a large dining table and two shower rooms, one on each floor. The rear bedroom has a balcony that overlooks the garden with a ruined abbey and the Charentaise countryside beyond. Outside there's a summer kitchen, a small terrace and a lawned garden. The village has a delightful cake shop, a popular restaurant, artisanal stores and a museum.

Moulin de Corot House

This mill offers a relaxing stay for the whole family on the banks of the Glane in the commune of Saint-Junien (87). Nestled in the heart of the Limousin countryside, this house is in a protect site just a two-minute walk from the Site Corot, emblem of the town of Saint-Junien. Sleeps up to 7, including one bedroom with 1 double bed and private terrace, another with 1 double bed and one last with 3 single beds. We supply bed linen and towels.
