The house was beautiful with a very small walk to the beach, very well equipped kitchen and proactive friendly hosts who provided a generous amount of towels and cloths.

We had an amazing stay at hot water beach this summer. The property was beautiful and right on the beach, couldn’t ask for much more. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Fabulous place a short walk away from the beach. The house itself is great (even better than the photos), it’s private, very spacious and has everything you need. There is also a golf course and a great restaurant just around the corner. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

We have had many stays in Pauanui... A lovely lock wood home on the airstrip and close to both beach and shops. Comfy beds and well appointed kitchen (just needs a microwave). Loved it

this home was in the most amazing location absolutely beach front 😍 we woke up to orca off the deck and watched them for hours we didn't really want to leve over our 3 night stay. the home runs on tank water so take heaps of drinking water with you. the home has a musky sort of smell to it but we did not mind. it's the middle of winter so it took a bit to heat the home as it was really cold on arrival. but the best part was waking up the the most breathtaking views and for that we are greatfull. definitely recommend this home is central to lots to explore around the coromandle.

Great place to stay with everything you need for a short stay. Nice views, easy access to the beach and walkways.

Highly recommend this home! It looked exactly as it did online, and had all the basics we needed such as tea, sugar, paper towels, rubbish bags, towels, extra blankets, toilet tissue, body wash and even a few board games in the kitchen. It was super easy to check in, and New World is 650m down the road which is handy to for groceries. The main shops and beach were nearby - a 15-20 minute walk (which is easily walkable with the town being so flat), or a quick 2-3 minute drive. Self check in was straightforward, and the place was absolutely spotless. It felt like a home away from home, where we immediately felt comfortable. And also, the furniture was such good quality - in particular the couches were the most comfortable couches we've ever sat on! The place was tastefully furnished, with modern character that felt warm. It was the perfect stay for a wholesome weekend in Whangamata and if I had to describe this place in a few words it would be spotless, good quality and comfy.

Absolutely amazing stay, we couldn't fault it. The host was extremely responsive and on to it. We did run out of gas but the host was there within 20 minutes to sort it out for us. The bach is extremely spacious, had all the necessary amenities, lots of board games too which was great for our group. It was very clean and in a great location, 10 min max walk into town. Will definitely be back, highly recommend!
