You'll have the entire upper part of the house to yourselves! The apartment is not lockable as it is an emergency exit. Almost all guests are extremely satisfied! Welcome to our beautiful Blankenheim, which is 900 years old. Enjoy the natural beauty in a modern and cozy getaway around this historic place. The apartment is only about 300 meters from the famous hiking trail 'Eifelsteig.' Shopping such as Aldi, Lidl, Rewe are only about 2.5 km away. Furthermore, the accommodation is quietly located on the edge of the forest with meadows right behind the house. The historic town center is within 10 minutes' walking distance.

Our barrier-free apartment (2025) has underfloor heating, a bedroom with a double bed & wardrobe, a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a living/dining area with a kitchen & pull-out sofa bed and a guest bed (90×200 cm). There is also an idyllic summer garden with seating.

The red house is located in the idyllic Veytal between Mechernich and Satzvey, directly on the eponymous Veybach. This allows you to enjoy the special location in the middle of the nature of the old forest worker's house, while being only 900 m from the town of Mechernich. The house is located directly on a bike path and thus offers a good starting point for bike tours in the region.
