Holiday rentals with a kayak in Douro River

We had a lovely time with my family. The essentials for the 2 infants were a plus. We appreciated Angela's responsiveness who didn't hesitate to move when we had a concern. The calm and river nearby is a great plus. We were able to do padel and canoe. Recommended for family time. I will definitely come back.

We had a lovely few days in the very idyllic and peaceful surroundings of Carla’s beautiful farm. Our girls absolutely loved meeting the sheep, chickens and donkey, the pool looked fantastic (but unfortunately too cold/wet to use) and the accommodation was immaculate with all the modern fittings. Porto was in striking distance and lots of other places to visit nearby.

Carlos’ and Helene’s apartment is exquisite. Only 10 mins from Coimbra it is a beautifully restored cottage that is warm and inviting, but the most welcoming component is without doubt the hosts. Helene met us at check-in and in addition to giving us the full rundown on the property and it's surrounds, encouraged us to enjoy the surrounding bounty of fruit and produce, showed us the leisure equipment they offered and walked us through the use of electrical amenities. Next came the best surprise of all. The kitchen. Because our stay exceeded 3 nights our magnificent, thoughtful hosts had stocked the fridge with continental breakfast options and offered us locally produced honey and Olive Oil. It was such a thoughtful and generous act that really touched us. During our time both Carlos and Helene regularly touched base to see if all was ok and on leaving wished us safe travels for the rest of our journey. I can’t recommend it highly enough, do yourself a favour and stay.

We rented the entire villa for 9 days for 6 guests consisting of family & friends. Alessandro made every aspect of or visit pleasant and guided us through everything we needed to know about the house and the area. He’s the kindest of hosts and considerate of guests privacy as well. I highly recommend OLA Guesthouse.

Lúcia's house is wonderful. In a beautiful and peaceful environment, surrounded by nature and peace, the house transmits harmony and good energy. Lucia takes care of everything, welcoming us with a few gifts that we very much appreciated. The house is very clean and has everything you need and more to spend an unforgettable few days. We went in winter but we will be back in good weather to enjoy even more of the outdoor area. Thank you for being such a good host Lucia

We stayed in 4 places in Portugal in 10 days and chose this place and this place as the last of our trip and we loved all the previous places to stay! The property had the first floor bedroom and the living room with kitchen on the ground floor. The bedroom was very large with an extra balcony and nice windows to sit. The living room was also very comfortable. We were able to park by car right in front of the property which was very convenient for shopping. We were also provided with sup boards and bicycles, which we unfortunately did not use in our short time there. Our goal was to explore the national park with hikes. Highly recommended! In the summer we may come back again to go to the lake with the sup boards.

The view from this home is priceless. It is spacious and very comfortable. The power went out multiple times but always came right back on. The host was quick to respond to all of our questions and requests.

Great house. Great surroundings. Loved the pool area and the boats at the lake.

The house is beautiful, very spacious. It has a fireplace in the living room that makes the stay much more welcoming. Rooms are very spacious and well lit with natural light. I don't know hey any disturbing noise. The area is very quiet. There's plenty of parking in your area. From the house we visit the towns of tourist interest in the surroundings, which are about 30 minutes away. Obrayan and his wife were attentive at all times. They were very attentive and friendly. If we are back in the area, we will repeat, without hesitation.🤗

The country house Los Carballos conquered the family from the photos and fell in love upon arriving.Javier accompanied us there and made us feel at home explaining everything in detail and recommending lovely places to visit. We had an amazing weekend, enjoying all the amenities: a churrasquera and stone tables outside, well equipped kitchen, very spacious showers, super comfortable beds, and a pellet fireplace that made the living room very cozy to play board games. The estate is a paradise, with trees, grass and space for children and adults to play and enjoy - even badminton court! At night, we use the sunbeds to see the stars and the Milky Way, an unforgettable spectacle!. Javier, an exceptional host, always attentive, treated us with great affection. In short, a wonderful experience in a dream home and estate, perfect to enjoy with family or friends and explore the beautiful area of Baiona and surroundings. We will be back!

We had a wonderful few days. The place is perfect for two people and the setting is beautiful for walking and enjoying beautiful sunsets. Ideal for disconnecting.

We are very very thankful to Helena and Luis. They are very sweet, helpful and amazingly kind. We felt right at home in this absolute stunning place. It is a bit difficult to find, but Helena was a great help. We LOVED it and enjoyed it to the max! We will be back for sure!

The cabin is basic but comfortable, the place super quiet. To go with children it is great since a few meters Francisco has the activity park in the heart of nature. Francisco and his family made it easier for us to stay both with the treatment and with the instructions and facilities; we felt right at home. What we needed has made it easier for us immediately and has been very helpful with us; in addition to the patience you have with the kids. It was always available. We are very grateful

Our stay there was perfect. Really cozy cabin in the nature, but still very close to the beach and the cities!

We chose this place for a little escape by the end of our busy season and to celebrate a birthday. We wanted a hut, peace and nature. We got it here. The hut served our purposes for the short stay with all the amenities you need, including heating. The views were breathtaking and the location is out of this world. During the day (a week day) one could only hear birds and the nighttime is one of the most peaceful you can get. Of the sky is clear, it's perfect to watch shooting stars. Would be back at anytime for a longer term.

A lovely and sustainable cabin with everything you need for a peaceful stay in the middle of nature. Areao beach is wonderful and you can walk from the house. Highly recommended! We found everything very clean and cozy and felt right at home, really. To repeat!
