New central in-law unit

Enjoy the central location to the city center with good restaurants and the walking distance to the train station. The house has just been refurbished, including the granny flat. Energy is sustainably generated via photovoltaics and an air-source heat pump. We also live in the house and are happy to be available to you personally as a host. A children's travel crib is provided if needed. A kitchen is in the planning stage and therefore not yet available in the apartment. Our fridge and microwave can also be used.

We rent a renovated 2-room apartment on the 1st floor of our detached house. The house is situated in a quiet residential street in the Ratinger East near the forest. There are leisure activities and numerous hiking opportunities close by, for example through the beautiful Angertal. There are good transport connections to the A3, A44 and A52. The train station is only 1.2 km away and the nearest bus stop is 200 m away. Düsseldorf Airport and the trade fair can be reached in 10 - 15 minutes by car.

Mindestens 50 Restaurants in fussläufiger Nähe, super angebunden in die Stadt oder zur Messe (24 Minuten mit Bus).

Walnut Tree Cottage Apartment wurde 2023 fertig gestellt und mit viel Liebe zum Detail im englischen Stil eingerichtet. Die Räume sind mit z. T. antiken Möbeln und Tapeten des National Trust (England) aus 3 Jahrhunderten dekoriert. Die Ausstattung der Küche und des Bades ist modern und hochwertig. Die Unterkunft liegt in einer ruhigen Sackgasse, die Autobahn wird in wenigen Minuten erreicht. Der fußläufig gelegene Bahnhof bietet Direktverbindungen u. a. nach Düsseldorf, Köln und Wuppertal.

The apartment has a small hallway with a cloakroom as an entrance, a bathroom with shower and a room with a kitchenette, dining table, writing room, wardrobe and two beds that can be used individually or as a double bed. The apartment is surrounded by greenery, directly next to the creek "Düssel", no neighbors, parking on the property in front of the door. Own entrance with only three steps. Check in is done via a key box with a number code, which I will send shortly before arrival.

Dream holiday on the farm! Our small, modern apartment on the ground floor offers pure comfort: fully equipped kitchen, private terrace right outside the door, all in the middle of the countryside. Enjoy this peaceful idyll at the gates of Mettmann surrounded by fields, meadows and ponds. Shopping and restaurants are within 15-20 minutes walking distance. The famous Neandertal is right around the corner, Düsseldorf is not far away. Ideal for nature lovers and active vacationers.

The completely renovated Degenfabrik offers you an ambience that makes time run a little slower. Parking is available, 10 to 15 minutes to the city, various restaurants and shops, regional train connection. The sports facility is behind the house. In the same building we run an art gallery that can be visited.

You will stay in the Vohwinkel district. The beautiful Art Nouveau house is very central and yet quietly located in a 30 km/h zone. The end stop of the suspension railway, the train station with S-Bahn and regional train connections are only a five or twelve-minute walk away. Shops, grocery stores and supermarkets (Kaufland, Lidl, Rewe, etc.) Pharmacies, ice cream parlors and restaurants are also within a radius of about three to ten minutes' walk.

The apartment consists of a dining and living area with sofa bed (with continuous mattress) as well as a bedroom. -Smart TV and balcony. In the separate bedroom there is a large double bed and a spacious wardrobe. There is also a bright, large desk. There, the 3rd person can also sleep on the extra bed. The beds are already made up and towels are available.

Our mobile tiny house, based on a shipping container, was designed to offer top accommodation services while surrounded by nature and animals while being located just some minutes away from the city. Our place is located in the middle of the Neanderthal trail. A recollection of 240 kms of hiking and biking trails leaving from our house or by short driving distance.
