Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Emmental District

I stayed for 11 days and thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The host was exceptionally kind and helpful, going above and beyond by taking me to the station at 5 AM in the rain. I truly appreciate their thoughtfulness and hospitality.

We (two families) spent 2 nights in the Sunnsite and can highly recommend the accommodation. The accommodation, the location, the communication with Kurt; everything tiptop. Thank you!!

We stayed two weeks with a dog and child in the witch's house and found everything you need for a pleasant stay on site. The place is beautiful, the neighbors very friendly and the cottage very cozy. Heating with the stove brings a special atmosphere. The care of Lehmanns and Ms. Schwarzentrub is absolutely exemplary. We forgot something and they treated us very courteously.

This place is amazing for families with young kids ( 1 to 13 years). The concept is great and so is the view. The house is very tastefully made & the host is kind and helpful. I highly recommend it for families looking for a unique getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at Stöckli during the Christmas days. The Stöckli has plenty of space and is comfortably furnished. It has everything you need. The surrounding area is very nice and invites you to walk. We and the kids enjoyed it very much. Communication with Claudia was very good. Thanks for everything!

Cilene’s place was spotless, cozy, and in a great spot. She was super friendly and quick to respond. Would stay again!

We stayed at Barbara and Walter's dream house for 3 nights and had the 3 greatest days of our lives. First of all, the house and especially its garden (and view) make you feel like you are living in paradise. Everything (absolutely everything) is available in the house and the decoration of the house is perfectly done. While watching the view inside the house and in front of the stove, you feel like you are in a completely different world with the objects made of wood and ceramics in the house. Barbara and Walter are the best hosts in the world, providing immediate support in everything we needed. They are so kind and caring that they translated the oven at home into our native language. If you want to enjoy the unique view of Switzerland, integrate with the green and be close to the city at the same time, you can choose Barbara and Walter's dream house. We look forward to coming again and thank you very much for everything to them!

Many thanks to Dino and Ellen, we arrived late but they were waiting for us and were communicative. The room was very well stocked with amenities and was like being in your own home.

From the moment we arrived we felt welcome, it gave us a feeling like home. Before we arrived the contact with Matthias and Lutz went really well. We got clear instructions upfront how to get there and tips about the hiking possibilities . Matthias and Lutz thought about everything, there are extra’s in the kitchen, comfortable pillows and extra’s in the drawer underneath the tabel. We will definitely come back!!

It was a very pleasant stay with Andreas. We enjoyed our time there and had some pleasant conversations with their family! It's an active farm and we really enjoyed seeing the farm animals up close.

A great place to stay when you want to unplug and enjoy nature and beautiful surroundings. The checkin and check out were easy and they made themselves available to greet us. I have nothing to complain about, I can only say good things about our stay. Thank you for having us!

Christine and Thomas are very welcoming, the apartment is nice and the view is incredible. A pleasure to have lunch outside . The train at the bottom of the apartment ( Worbodden ) will take you to Bern in 25 minutes. You can go there without a second thought.

The place was excellent. The exterior was exactly as pictured and the inside was even better! Christina Farm is located in a picturesque hilly landscape is peaceful. The birds chirping, the bells of the cows ring, there's greenery everywhere, it's just idyllic. Christina herself is a wonderful host, my friend and I immediately felt at home. We even had the privilege of tasting homemade pastries. It was delicious! 😋 And at the end, we brought pillows filled with spelt! Now we can sleep just as peacefully even at home. Communication with Eveline was already wonderful in advance. On site, we were very warmly welcomed by her mother. The apartment is very nice. New bathroom, new kitchen and new floors. With lots of wood and everything was sparkling clean. The apartment is on the second floor of a farmhouse.

We really enjoyed our stay at Antoinette's place. The apartment was super clean and equipped with all necessary appliances. It also had a high chair and crib for our 5 month old - very baby friendly. The location is on approx. an hours distance from major cities like Zurich & Basel. Highly recommended :)
