Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Engelberg

Dorina and Mauro were fabulous hosts. We arrived later than anticipated and they stayed up late to greet us personally and show us the space in detail. They are a very kind and charming couple. Their accommodations were spotless, extremely comfortable and private. We felt at home and had everything that we needed right at our disposal. The morning espresso on the patio was a very special treat. I would 10/10 recommend Dorina and Mauro and their lovely apartment to anyone traveling through or near Quinto!

Beautiful stay in a clean, cozy cottage in a quiet village with great restaurant. The garden and view were glorious, the host very helpful. Only the parking situation was a bit difficult. We will be happy to come back, thank you!

We loved Villa Celeste. It was exactly as pictured and the location was easy to access Old Town by bus. It was a lovely, quiet neighborhood and we were glad it was away from hectic tourist areas, but close enough that it wasn’t a hassle to get there.

Spending time at Sabrina's is so comforting. It's the second time for us, and it felt lukewarm we never left we found everything we needed, and more. The view from the rooms each morning were cleaning off the fuzzy brains we came with from work. Very well positioned, the location allows reaching all important travel marks, within short drives or walls. Interlaken being 10 mins away, and supermarkets being open for longer hours than usually are in Seitzerland, allows proper refill of the fridge, in case cooking is desired for the family. Kitchen worth mentioning is equipped with performant appliances, and kitchenware completes fully the need one may have; both for small families as well as 6 persons as the max capacity is. We stayed at this place for the second time, which actually speaks for itself. It was a great stay again. The absolute highlight for us is the old wood-burning stove that you can use. Thanks for this great place and hopefully see you soon

Christine's apartment was fabulous, modern, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, cosy and had comfortable beds. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend it. Just be aware though if you are booking this 6 bed apartment for only 3 or 4 people as we had an issue. We were a party of 2 mothers (in 60's) & 2 sons (in 20's). We were pleased to find this apartment as it had 3 rooms so the mothers could have a room each and sons share twin room. However when we arrived the twin room was locked and unavailable & 2 rooms did not match the listing showing 3. We were very disappointed. Christine did respond quickly and rectified the situation but pointed out she she had provided 4 beds. One mother is an Airbnb host and didn't feel she was very apologetic for the disappointment we had felt. She would have been far more apologetic. However she did not charge us for use of laundry to compensate. we can still thoroughly recommend this lovely apartment.

The apartment was just perfect for us. we had our peace and quiet, everyone had their own area to retreat a little. The apartment was clean and well maintained. Everything you needed was there. We'd love to come back. best regards from Savognin Claudine Angel Karin

My two-year-old grandson loved the many toys in the house, especially the cars. The house is well furnished and equipped. There is a lot of wood to grill what we used. The location in the middle of the small village is very nice. You should be on foot. There are several stairs to the apartment. We also liked the large garden overlooking you mountains. Overall, we had a very nice stay at the Casa.

The location is ideal, conveniently close to Zürich's main station and the bus stop, making it easy to embark on trips. It's also within walking distance of tram stations and surrounded by excellent restaurants and grocery stores. The apartment itself was spacious, well-maintained, and comfortable. The hosts were supportive as well. All in all good experience.

Perfect for our family stay. The studio isn't big, but we weren't there to stay locked up. It had everything we needed and even a crib for our daughter. Simone is very responsive by message and was able to advise us. Thanks again!

Nice & cozy place to stay. Comfortable beds. Top equipped (even table grill & fondue dishes available). Grocery stores and gondola very close. Thermal bath (Hotel Nendaz) is also very close. Heinz responds quickly to questions & is very friendly. We had a very enjoyable stay - thank you!

Had a great stay, was easy to find and check in. For us the location was perfect, with an amazing view. For us as hikers we loved the area.

The stay at Patrizia's apartment was excellent. Especially the communication, the tidy impeccable apartment as well as the two large and cozy balconies were great. The somewhat outdated coffee machine may no longer meet today's needs. However, I was amazed at how well the coffee ended and this without capsules. happy to be back in Patrizia's apartment.

This house is definately a home away from home. It is beautiful and comfortable with all its details . You find eveything you need and enjoy the wonderful scenary of the mountain . Claudia is a very generous and gentle and welcoming person . She also made the kids happy with nice gestures . Will definately visit again!

The apartment is really very nice, perfect for our needs. It is in a very quiet area, just outside the center of Crans. Access to the underground garage is also included....very convenient. The directions provided by Patricia were impeccable and very helpful.

Eva's place was excellent! We loved that it was so close to a grocery store and the bus stop. The little town is quiet and quaint! The views are amazing! The house was sparkling clean and well stocked. Eva let us have an early check-in which was so nice! Everything about our stay was amazing! Would definitely return and recommend! Thanks so much!
