In the middle of the nature of the eastern Elbe Valley you will find peace and relaxation. Activities such as hiking, fishing or Elbe rafting can, in addition to many attractions in your area, beautify your holiday. On the terraces and the large courtyard, you can enjoy the sun or sit around the campfire in large groups. Direct neighbor is a family-run inn where you can stop for breakfast, lunch or dinner. In the next village there is a large quaint brewery.

Here, the clocks tick a little slower: our lovingly renovated half-timbered house is located on the outskirts of Sumte, surrounded by meadows, fields and the unique landscape of the Elbe floodplain. Look forward to sunsets from the terrace, relaxing hours in the garden sauna and plenty of space for time together with family or friends. The Elbe, Lake Sumter and numerous cycle paths are only a few minutes away. If you like, you can discover the Elbe floodplain on an alpaca walk with our neighbour.

Lovingly renovated single house with 80 m² of living space has been inviting families to relax since November 2019, whether for a cozy weekend or an exploration of the Lauenburg Lake District and the Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve. Large living/dining area, 2 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, veranda and a cozy garden with large terrace (see photos). The location is ideal for day trips: about 25 minutes to Lübeck, 40 minutes to Schwerin, 45 minutes to the Baltic Sea beach or 50 minutes to Hamburg City.

The highlight is the bright living area with high ceilings, open timber-framed walls and glazed Tennentor overlooking the village square.

There is a stork's nest in the immediate vicinity. The Elbe dyke and the Elbe cycle path are 200 m away, and two bicycles are available free of charge.

Nature is beautiful at any time of the year and can be explored from your own jetty with boats and SUPs. Fishing in your own lake area is possible free of charge.

Relax with family or friends in this cozy space. With barbecue and fire bar, you can make yourself comfortable outside. In winter, the fireplace provides cozy hours. Or you can explore the area. The beautiful Lüneburg (10 km), Hamburg (40 km) and the Lüneburg Heath (15 km) can be reached quickly. Fresh rolls are available at the bakery around the corner. The idyllic forest bath is 10 minutes away. Ideal for groups of girls: "Bake macarons with me" 6 participants, 4 hours, €60 each.

From this centrally located accommodation, you can take the regional express from Ahrensburg station to Hamburg Central Station in 20 minutes. Ahrensburg has around 35,000 inhabitants and borders directly on Hamburg. Ahrensburg is known for its castle, among other things. The accommodation is a 100sqm semi-detached house built in 1998 with a small, cozy front garden, terrace, carport, 4 rooms, a shower and bathtub, as well as a guest toilet and a kitchen. Haus is located in a very quiet location in the Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve. It is 10 km to Lake Schaalsee, 5 km to Lake Neuenkirchen, to the Baltic Sea 50 km (traffic jam-free!!!). The house can be started directly to bike rides, on adjacent hiking trails. On the very natural property there is also a swimming pond. The house is very bright and quiet. I also paint there and write and so there is a large easel available. Pets have generous time.

A place to take a deep breath, switch off and arrive.

Our cozy farmhouse is located in Zeetze, a picturesque village in the district of Lüneburg in the Elbe valley. Lüneburg with its historic old town is about 30 minutes away by car, Hamburg about 45 minutes. The house has direct views and access to the lake. Peace and relaxation are guaranteed as well as unforgettable nature experiences. We generate electricity and hot water with a photovoltaic system in heating with renewable raw materials.
