Brian is great host, very responsive. There was a small issue with the patio screen. We let him know mostly to avoid being charged for damage, but he got it fixed immediately. The place was spotless and simple. Loved the icemaker, great feature for any fishing or beach destination!

My friend and I really enjoyed staying at Ant's place. The space was exactly as advertised, clean, and had our necessities. We really enjoyed the quietness of the neighborhood, and watching the sunrise in the mornings from the front porch. We would definitely stay here again!

If you are looking for a peaceful, secluded and serene getaway, then Mi Faro is for you. We were looking for a spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of our densely populated city, and Harkers island was like stepping back in time. Located very close the to Harkers island ferry, it’s very accessible to hop over to explore the Cape Lookout Lighthouse and Shackleford Banks. The restaurant right behind Mi Faro, called Fish Hook, was fabulous. The food was too notch and we ate there multiple times. Overall, it was an excellent experience, a warm and inviting space to stay, with beautiful views of the water. We will definitely be back to stay at Mi Faro in the future. Learning the history and importance of the lighthouse was a definite high point of our journey. Also, make sure to check out the wild horses on Shackleford Banks. Beaufort and Morehead City are also a short drive away if you are looking for other activities or dining experiences.
