The gîte comprises 2 bedrooms of 15 m² each, a large, fully equipped kitchen-living room, and a veranda. You will also benefit from a pleasant, south-facing outdoor area with a shaded terrace, a green space, children's play equipment and parking spaces.

Enjoy lunch on the terrace, in the shade of the weeping willow, or in the garden under the maple tree. Explore the mountain on foot or mountain bike from the cabin, or with snowshoes or back-country skis at 5' driving. Autumns are brightly colored. The mythical Céüze rock-climbing area and the Dévoluy ski area are nearby!

Perched on stilts above the village of La Bâtie-Neuve, Chalet L'Écureuil welcomes you to its cosy, treehouse-style cabin on the edge of the forest, at the far end of the property, behind the main chalet occupied by the owners. You can access the property via a charming 50-metre footpath and enjoy a magnificent view of the valley. Its 19 m² covered outdoor terrace features a fully private hot tub. Adults only. In autumn, listen to the deer rut. Not to mention stargazing!

Small wooden chalet in the mountains

Everything is there, but you have to go: Warning access: Narrow 4 km mountain dirt road accessible with a rugged vehicle (highly recommended). We do not recommend climbing in new and/or low-body vehicles. Altitude 1650 meters. From the beginning of December to the end of March, due to snow, the climb is only done by hiking, about 45 minutes. Four golf holes (pitch and putt), clubs and balls are at your disposal.
