“This is the cutest little cottage! The decor and design just makes you feel at home and is just plain fun! The space is spotless! Which is wonderful, especially since we came during a pandemic! We came for a friends gender reveal party and were only a few minutes from pretty much anything you needed! Loved it and would absolutely stay again!”
Sit out on a front porch rocker facing the Eno River. This property was saved from demolition, disassembled, moved, and restored in 2018. Most of its historic structure remains, including heart pine floors, original shiplap, and cathedral ceilings.
“We loved our stay at Nancy’s place. It was such artful, modern touches in the beauty of a historic home. The beautiful wood smell, natural lighting and sprawling front porch was a nice break from sippy cups and legos for us. We enjoyed coffee on the porch and two young deer came in to the yard. So relaxing! Will definitely visit again.”

“You will not be disappointed with the decision to stay here! Check-in was quick and easy, the trails were great for exploring, and the fish were definitely biting at the pond! Mike allowed us to use his cane poles and even brought us some meat to use as bait. We all loved the ability to just walk out of the carriage house and be able to fish. The house itself is stylish, clean and had everything we needed for our two night stay. We were able to have a great day exploring and snuggle on the comfy couches for family movie night at the end of the day. The location was perfect! It was about 15 min from everything we wanted/needed to do. Maple View Ice cream is a must do! We will definitely be back when we are in the area again!”
