Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, which is blessed with forests, lakes and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, and there are many natural places such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri and Togakushi nearby. A townhouse located in the castle town of Kanazawa City, Kaga Million Stone. The owner is from Taiwan, and the management is a team. We have preserved the structure of the pre-war building and rebuilt the water system. Staying in an old house allows you to experience a different kind of life than your usual daily routine. Popular tourist spots such as Omicho Market, Ozaki Shrine (dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu), and Oyama Shrine (dedicated to Maeda Toshiie) are within walking distance. You can enjoy the charm of the ancient capital of Kanazawa. Mutsuwa Shicho, which overlooks the garden scenery, is an accommodation that offers a garden and balcony, and is about a 14-minute walk to Kenrokuen. Opened in July 2024. La Fotografia Marrone is conveniently located a 9-minute walk from Kanazawa Station and a 6-minute walk from Omicho Market, where buses leave for major tourist spots in Kanazawa. The building faces a quiet street lined with Kanazawa Machi-style houses, and you can see the largest temple in Kanazawa, Tozai-in Temple. The building consists of a traditional exterior and interior layout. In addition, in the "photography" section, which is also the theme of this accommodation, there is a photo exhibition by Japanese photographer "Kimura Katsuhiko IG @ kats_portraits". In addition, you can spend a relaxing time indoors listening to the music that Mr. Kimura selected to match the photos. To ensure guests have a relaxing stay, we have provided facilities such as a washing machine for cooking and medium-long stays, close to Omi Market. This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

Haruya Guesthouse

Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.

I am an Artist / Photographer born in Kyoto I started hosting because I love meeting people from all over the world and making new friends. This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. Private cypress bath and renovated rooms and made another entrance for the Guests. So now it is 2 separate house Please check the house rules before you book.
