Mökki means "cottage" in Finnish. Spend your time in a special place surrounded by nature. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, which is blessed with forests, lakes and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, and there are many natural places such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri and Togakushi nearby. You will have full access to a comfortable building renovated with natural materials such as cedar, cypress, and plaster, a natural garden that creates seasonal views, and a forest with a stream.In the forest that we have been maintaining, you can see birds, squirrels, and raccoon dogs, and you can enjoy strolling around looking for wild vegetables and mushrooms, as well as swings and hammocks. We have also paid special attention to the interior of the room and kitchen utensils so that you can enjoy 'living'. At the pavilion by the stream, you can enjoy BBQ and campfires without worrying about the weather. It is ideal as a base for hiking, fishing, paddleboarding and golf in the green season, and as a base for winter sports in the snow season. This is the second floor of an old Japanese house that serves as a teahouse, hosted by a French and Japanese couple who also serve as tour guides for Tsushino. The entire space of about 100 ㎡ is completely private and limited to one group per day, so you can relax and unwind in a large space as your own private space. There are two spacious bedrooms and a dining space in a large Japanese-style room. You can enjoy the Japanese countryside comfortably and at your own pace. We can also accommodate Japanese, English, and French. Please let me know if you would like to know more about the charm of Tsuwano and sightseeing. On the days when the host's cafe is open, you can also interact with other customers and enjoy tea and sweets. You can spend time in a spacious and quiet room, enjoy interacting with people and tourists in Tsuwano, or help coordinate a wonderful trip.

An original sake brewery built in the late Edo period

●B&B On y va & Experience● This is a limited group accommodation in a renovated sake brewery, built in the late Edo period. The price is the same for 1 or 2 people, and an additional charge per person will be incurred from the 3rd person. The first floor is the living room and the second floor is the bedroom. Size: 108.5 ㎡ (1st floor 85 ㎡, 2nd floor 23.5 ㎡) If you need more than one bedroom, there are 2 Japanese-style rooms with 10 tatami mats in the back building (with separate entrances, toilets, and verandas), so you can use a total of 3 bedrooms. Please let us know at the time of booking. A total of 160 m² of space is available with an additional 51.5 m². For breakfast, we provide coffee, bread, butter, and eggs from Oniwa Farm. Use of the kitchen is limited to guests staying 3 days or more. ✳ ︎ A separate fee is charged for the use of facilities such as meals, meetings, workshops, events, and photography with people other than guests. Enjoy the view of Lake Nojiri, with a private sauna, Anoie (あの家)

This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

Haruya Guesthouse

Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.
