Holiday rentals with lake access in Honshu

Thanks a lot for a wonderful stay! We were lucky enough to enjoy a wonderful view of Mount Fuji on both days through the living room window and slept really good on both, beds and futons. 👍 It was really nice that there were two bathrooms (one with a shower one without) available, definitely a plus for a larger group as ours. Communication through Airbnb was easy and really nice. Thanks to the team for making our stay so great and effortless.

Great place to stay, especially with the house facing Mt. Fuji

There are 2 toilets, 1 bathroom, the place is clean but the floor is very thin and the sound of our group walking upstairs will be heard clearly downstairs. And the road is narrow and we can drive an SUV, but be careful and drive slowly.The driver said the road was a bit hard to drive and was scared of scratching the body. Fuji with a clear view!The room and living room saw the big Fuji, and it was a good stay.

A beautiful house with a stunning view of Fuji-san. 10 mins walk to Oshino Hakkai. As long as you’re okay with using a public onsen for washing, this place is great

I used it with friends, children, and pets. The room was stylish and clean, and everyone was quite excited and happy to get to the room.Some of the facilities were too stylish and difficult to understand how to use, but it was really comfortable because they had a whole set of things. It was fun to have a barbecue on the deck while letting pets freely in the garden. I'd love to come back if I get the chance. Thank you.

Osaka was our first stop in a multi-city trip to Japan. I could not imagine staying anywhere else to begin our trip. Yui was friendly and communicative from the moment we booked the reservation, and continued to reach out throughout our stay. There were 3 and there was plenty of space for us. The beds were comfortable and the home clean. It definitely felt like a home away from home. Another highlight is how close the home is to everything. We were a 10 - 15 minute walk from Dotonbori and there were so many convenience stores nearby. Overall, I would highly recommend this place for anyone with 3-4 people traveling in a group, and I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Osaka.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The space is simple but perfect for one person. Very nice neighbourhood with a decent sized supermarket directly opposite the apartment and a very large one just a 5 min walk away. Two train stations within 2-10 mins walking distance. Keep in mind it takes around an hour to reach most places in central Tokyo, but it's quite easy. The kitchenette is small but had the required items to cook some simple meals. I'm a remote worker - wifi was good, but lack of proper desk was a little challenging, just a coffee table with floor seat which is not very comfortable for long periods. but not an issue if you will be out most of the time. the bed just had a futon mattress but I stacked the second mattress from the pull out bed underneath to make it a little softer. host was very responsive and communicative, he even waited up until after midnight to check me in as I made my way from the airport which is much appreciated. overall a comfortable and good value stay!

Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful kawaguchiko apartment. Place was exactly as described and in prestige condition. Close to all Mt. Fuji hot spots and a feel safe neighborhood. Definitely would stay again and recommend to family and friends.

Chiyo was very helpful recommend some places and air bnb is very clean and comfortable to stay in.

Amazing location, right in the heart of Dontonbori!

The place was clean, comfortable, and had character. The host was extremely nice and helpful. The place was right by Ueno Park which looked beautiful! And it had many restaurant options about a 3 minute walk away! I would definitely recommend staying here. It was well worth the price and close to transit

We had a wonderful stay at Loris Cottage. The place was clean, tidy, and fully equipped with everything we needed for cooking and daily use. The highlight was waking up and having breakfast on the balcony with a stunning view of Mount Fuji—truly marvellous and felt almost unreal. We also enjoyed walking and using the bicycles provided to explore around the lake, which made the experience even more special. The only challenge was accessing the main area, as it required climbing quite a steep staircase. It might be tiring for those with heavy luggage or for elderly guests, so it’s something to consider. Aside from that, everything was excellent and exceeded our expectations. The peaceful atmosphere, thoughtful touches, and the unforgettable view made our stay truly memorable. We had a great time and would absolutely love to return if we visit Fuji again in the future. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a scenic and peaceful getaway.

They were very accommodating, even though they made a last-minute reservation.The atmosphere was very good, and it was clean as pictured.The view from the window was also good, and we had a very relaxing time!

It was a great place to stay but really far from everything. We were also unable to reach a cab with taxi go or Uber. The only way we could get a ride was by calling a taxi service. It was also hard to explain the address to the taxi driver since we don’t speak Japanese. There was one time we did show the address of the Airbnb to the taxi driver and he took us far from it, we had to make a U-turn and guide him to the Airbnb. Other than that, it was a good, peaceful place.

Our family of 8 had a very unforgettable day in this very Japanese and innovative house... as soon as we entered the house was deeply attracted... it was a little late for us to arrive... but the homeowner was still very warmly hosting us... not forgetting to remind us to be careful on the way to come... because it snowed in the mountain lake that day... our family's first snowing experience was here The experience is... really mesmerized by the amazing snow scenery around... Although you can't see Fuji but get a very fascinating snow view... It's very close to the individual net red punch point of Yamanaka Lake... but this trip we didn't get the chance to see the charming Mt.Fuji... hopefully we'll have the chance to come back again in the future... and see the different beauty of Mt. Fuji... I'm here very, very very Recommended for people staying at this cozy homestay… there will be a next time only if there is regret..

A very warm and comforting stay.The area is beautiful and so is the cozy air bnb room right under a cute cafe. I would however recommend you rent a car if you’re unable to walk 17min to bus stop.

This is an amazing house to stay and it's worthwhile for family vacation. I spent two nights here with my family and we both enjoyed the house itself and the surroundings. The house is clean, warm and comfortable with the most beautiful view of Fuji mountain. Super convenient for the sunrise view. The host is very friendly and helpful! Hirano is kind of less convenient for food and drinks, but the host were willing to drive us to the restaurant which is quite far away. Hope I could go and stay again!
