Chalet holiday rentals in Hunter

We, 2 families absolutely loved our stay. This is very unique house: lots of artsy stuff and interesting pieces around the house. We enjoyed exploring it. A lot of original pieces preserved from the 70th, that gives house the personality. The views are breathtaking- you can just sit next to the big windows and enjoy. Outside whirlpool also has view on the mountains. Skiing is 20 just min away. Olia is wonderful and generous host!

A great place to stay. Truly she thought of everything. The only thing stopping anyone from having a great time in this place is just bad luck. The hot tub is so nice, and a lot nicer than a typical at home tub. The chalet was a great space and decorated incredibly. I would recommend this place to anyone.

This was our second stay at this beautiful chalet and we plan on staying again! It is even more beautiful than the pictures and the view from the deck is stunning. Very private and quiet location—perfect for unwinding and relaxing. Justin and Genevieve were super friendly and communicative both times. Highly recommend this place.

We had an outstanding stay at the silo. The pictures, while impressive, don’t do the place justice - interesting design, modern but cozy, spacious and well organized. Location is just off a semi-major road, but feels remote and private. Easy access to Phoenicia and Woodstock. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

House is perfect! Came for a group skip trip and very well equipped. Comfortable rooms and fantastic amenities.

This mountain retreat was just perfect for our two families to drive up in our all-wheel drive vehicles (we got a lot of snow) and meet up to ski together for the weekend. There was a great basement area for the boys to play video games, pool, foosball and just hang out. The hot tub provided us all a nice way to relax after skiing at Hunter one day and tubing at Windham another day. Such a great view of the beautiful mountains from the deck. The kitchen was well appointed with all that we needed to make some large dinners for the hungry crew. The beautiful fireplace kept us extra warm and cozy while we watched the NFL playoff games and played family games at night. There was plenty of room with lots of bedrooms, beds and bathrooms for all of us. We hope to come back again.

Wonderful! The house is really beautiful, with large windows and stunning views of the birch forest and a meandering stream. It is very clean, nicely decorated, and cozy. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Nik is friendly and responsive. The location is great too, feels like a nature retreat but an easy drive to restaurants and skiing at Hunter Mountain.

Cozy little house on side of Hunter Mtn. Very comfortable and had all amenities needed to accommodate two families with small children.

Lovely stay with family and friends. The host went out of his way to ensure our arrival was smooth, even with a very icy driveway and up to two inches of snow falling. The space is beautiful, secluded and serene. But also close to restaurants in Mt. Tremper and good hikes.

Fouz & Chris were excellent hosts with an amazing property. From the time our booking was confirmed they were in contact with us to insure we had as comfortable a stay as possible. Check-in was simple and flexible. The house was great, clean and well equipped. Highly recommend.

Eric and co were super communicative, and made our experience everything we needed out of the weekend. Would love to stay again if I’m in the area.

My wife and I stayed at Ron’s place for five nights for a winter getaway. We had a great stay, highlights include a comfortable king bed, a quiet setting, a cozy fireplace, and the large ground floor bathroom that feels like your own spa- we thoroughly enjoyed the sauna, huge bathtub, and rain shower. Ron was a great host and was very responsive with any questions we had. We spent many hours watching TV on the screen and projector set up, we grabbed more pillows from upstairs to add some more cushion to the leather couch downstairs.

We had a wonderful time with our family of four! Nataliya was responsive, and we would love to come back sometime in the summer. Thank you!

The house is clean and we found everything we need in there (kitchen supplies and etc)! Margie is a great host. 4 bedroom and 4 baths was perfect for my couple friends ! Location is perfect as well! Winter time - ski resort close by Summer time - lake activities Hot tub was a big plus esp after skiing all day! Highly recommend!

We had a cozy winter stay at the lake house, which had a well stocked kitchen, two living areas - great for when kids wanted to do different things - and a thermostat on every floor. Loved that the TVs came with streaming and DirecTV, which really helped when the weather wasn't good enough to be outside. Walkway does get icy in winter but views were still beautiful. Games and activities are more geared toward elementary and older kids, so if you have young kids you'll want to bring things to do. Layout wise, would add that the workspace is in an upstairs loft area (no door). 10 min drive to town and restaurants. Hosts were responsive. I bet it's amazing in the summer!

Meagan and Warren’s place is outstanding. If you’re looking to relax and unwind, look no further. Highly recommend. Clean, easy to find, beautiful surroundings, cozy, comfortable place, great restaurants around and nice walking trails, nice fireplaces inside and outside. There is no pressure to interact with Meagan and/or the goats but if you choose to seek it out it is an amazing experience! I really enjoyed joining in the painting with goats activity and learning about the sanctuary from Meagan! Thank you for sharing your world with us Meagan!

Great stay away from busy nyc. Private and warm

Place was very nice and has plenty of room for large groups. Beautiful views on the lake and the host was very communicative.
