Cottage holiday rentals in Hunter

We spent a getaway weekend as a group of moms with their kids and it was the perfect spot. Easy enough to child proof, the furniture was very comfortable, and the house was spotless. The outside amenities and forested area were fun and well-maintained. The host was the most proactive, communicative, and helpful that I’ve had. Fantastic stay, and would absolutely stay again!

This getaway was truly a quiet paradise. My husband and I enjoyed getting away from the kids and enjoying time together. The house smells amazing and was extremely clean. The hot tub in the backyard was just what I needed. The amount seen driving around was like something of a deer reservation. We got a big kick out of how many we could count. The hosts were very responsive with any questions we had. Would definitely recommend this cute home in the woods.

This was by far one of the best places I stayed on Airbnb, the property was absolutely stunning with the snow and fog above the mountains. They have everything you could possibly need for a great stay. The indoor fireplace is beautiful and plenty of wood was provided. The hot tub and fire pit in the snow with the Mountain View is unbeatable. There is a lot of space to go sledding, hiking, and if you bring a furry friend along, they are going to LOVE running around the massive yard. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, this was an amazing stay by all means.

We always stay at Little Willow when we go skiing at Belle Ayre. I think our three years and running relationship with the house tell you all you need to know about working with the Little and Littler gang and their spot.

We loved our stay at Dan’s place. Super inviting and cozy, the space has everything you could want/need for a restful weekend in the Catskills. Dan is very helpful and provided clear instructions, making our stay stress-free. We did not have to drive far to get to restaurants (Phoenicia Diner), hiking trails, and other spots, but were also quite content to relax on the couch and read in the afternoon sunlight. Our pup enjoyed the dog toys and blanket provided.

We had a wonderful stay at Diane’s. We were looking for a weekend away without the kids to recharge. We were able to do just that. We enjoyed the hot tub, and curling in front of the fire with a book. It was a snowy weekend but that just added to the charm. Diane’s scones are also amazing!! Diane made sure to communicate clearly and we were given all the info we needed to have a great time.

The house was very clean and welcoming to myself and the rest of my crew. We had an amazing time shooting our film here. The view was amazing and perfect for our film :)

My loved ones and I had an amazing time celebrating my man’s b-day! We had a lot of snow but we made the best of it. We brought a drone and got some great videos for all of us sitting by the fire pit making s’mores and it all looks so surreal. The area is amazing during all seasons, I would recommend and probably rebook with my family in future.

I booked Nidhi's place for one night for myself and a guest to attend a show at Bearsville. The placement of everything, inside and outside, created an intentional sense of comfort. My guest arrived after me - without a thought, we ended up at the kitchen table talking for hours before the show. Again, the placement of this conversation spot felt intentional, but only after we found ourselves engaged in it. The outdoor surroundings are utilized to not only accent, but to enhance the indoor setting. The whole experience felt private and safe, and allowed us to share a really precious window of time for reconnection and decompression. In addition to the appealing aesthetics (the chosen blue for that kitchen!), the bedding was a treat to come back to at the end of the night - so inviting and equally comforting to find yourself wrapped up in in the morning. Nidhi so kindly messaged me out of concern for the very high winds we were experiencing (prepared with a generator), but no issue.

Nice little getaway during the cold season. The hot tub was excellent and about 100 degrees so perfect even with the cold temperature. It was still possible to put together a meal with the propane grill and warm things up in the microwave or store them away in the fridge. The heat was excellent in the space. Seems like it would be a great place to stay in the summer as well!

A perfect spot to get away for the weekend. First, the view out the front door is top notch. Situated at just the right distance from town, we were able to hike, explore and eat well, and then easily head back to the Airbnb for some R&R. The area was peaceful, the beds were amazing, and the bathroom was fully stocked if we forgot anything. We checked out Saugerties Lighthouse to stretch our legs after travel. We loved breakfast at Josie’s, dinner at Miss Lucy’s and The Dutch, and ice cream at Sawyer’s. We explored some spots on the Hudson River School Art Trail: The Thomas Cole National Historic Site, Kaaterskill Falls, Platt Cove Preserve, and Falling Water Preserve. A perfect Catskills Airbnb that is dog friendly to boot! 10/10.

Absolutely fantastic stay! Even with snow and ice on the ground it was perfect for my family and our dog. Our dog was the main reason we chose this place- the fenced in backyard and close proximity to the Rail Trail (3 houses down!!!) CANNOT be beat. Wonderful and quiet neighborhood but so close by to everything- especially the Minnewaska State Park. The house was perfect- so cozy and modern throughout with the kitchen surprising us with the abundance of cookware and appliances provided! Cannot wait to come again when it is a little warmer and get to enjoy the beautiful porch and backyard. We absolutely will be back!!

Loved our stay in this beautiful cottage, perfect for the 2 of us. Extremely clean and beautifully decorated with a TV that had all the movie channels. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed, including delicious coffee . The bed was incredibly comfortable, slept like a baby. Pillows and blankets added to the comfy feel of home. Mark is a wonderful host who insured that the driveway was free of snow and ice prior to our arrival Highly recommend visiting.

Wonderful stay at John + Emily's place. Striking distance of so many hikes we wanted to do. Coming home to their house was relaxing and peaceful. One of the best kitchens I've ever been to with truly everything needed to cook light meals. Comfortable beds and a quiet setting. The bathtub was a luxurious way to unwind after an afternoon spent hiking. Hosts were very accommodating and wonderful to communicate with. We will be back to their lovely airbnb!

Great place to stay in Livingston manor and super close to Roscoe. Loved how cozy the cabin was, and definitely will be staying here again.

This cabin is so very special—and has an artists touch! It is cozy (especially with the wood stove going), spacious for being a one-room size, and has everything you need to disconnect and recharge. We will absolutely be back and appreciated the clear and easy communication as well!

Monica’s cottage was very peaceful and relaxing. Upon arriving getting in was very easy and linear. 2-3 dead stink bugs were found but I understand if the place hasn’t been touched in a while. A few dust bunnies here and there but no more than you’d find in your own home. The cottage was accurately described and pictured. Definitely met its standards, all of the decor and even the layout was beautiful and extremely cozy/comforting. This was the perfect get away me and my partner needed. Hope you enjoy as much as we did

Comfortable furniture and beds, actually hard to find so it’s nice that this home had those. Very tidy and comfy. The water is very relaxing. A must stay if you’re visiting Phoenicia!

This was a lovely little cottage to stay at for New Year’s Eve. Extremely cozy, and we had everything we needed. I imagine the porch would be very nice when it’s warmer, but it was just a bit too cold for us to utilize that on this trip. Everything was clean and it felt very homey.

We were expecting a peaceful, rustic, laid-back experience, and that's just what we got...and more. The cottage is situated in a lovely setting surrounded by trees, right at the edge of a picturesque brook. The inside was all we could ask for and more. So inviting and clean. Oozing warmth and charm. Every time we needed something, we could find it already supplied. The hosts clearly have thought of everything. We also loved the surrounding area. We spent lots of time in local eateries, checking out the nearby towns, and visiting the dozens of antique shops nearby. We had a wonderful time.

Jenna’s place is just like the picture—cozy and quiet. We love the sauna room—it's very relaxing. It was cold and raining during our stay, so having a sauna room inside the house is a big plus. I will definitely recommend it to everyone.
