If you are looking for a peaceful, private, very clean and comfortable stay surrounded by endless natural beauty, then this is the place for you! Zacharias is very conscientious about making sure you have everything you need and is helpful and friendly. He happily met me at the village square to show me the way to his place the first time and once he did that it was no problem finding it. What I especially loved was the quiet, since Greece can be noisy with motorcycles and barking dogs. It was profound. The views of the canyon, mountains, sea and sunsets are stunning. The cabina itself has every comfort needed. The STO Kampi restaurant in Agios Dimitrios is very good and 5 minute drive away, (or walkable) and it’s just a 15 minute drive down to the coastal town of Armenistis to seek out beaches and more life. Highly recommend!!

Το σπιτάκι της Νεφέλης ήταν ένα σπιτάκι κουκλιστικο λες και ήταν παραμύθι! Μικρή φωλιτσα! Απίστευτη θέα! Θα μπορούσες να κάτσεις ώρες σε αυτό το μπαλκόνι! Μέσα θα έλεγα μικρό αλλά με όλες τις ανέσεις ! Όμορφα τακτοποιημένο δεν του έλλειπε τίποτα! Ακόμα κ το μπάνιο που στην αρχή με τρόμαξε που ήταν τόσο μικρό.. ήταν τόσο λειτουργικό που πραγματικά απορώ γιατί χρειαζόμαστε μεγαλύτερο μπάνιο! Η Νεφέλη καθώς και οι γονείς της πολύ φιλόξενοι άνθρωποι! Ελπίζω σε μια επόμενη απόδραση στον Μαγγανίτη και στο μαγικό σπιτάκι της Νεφέλης!!

The place is really beautiful standing in high ground and looking at the sea as far as the eye goes. Very nice old school place suitable for a couple, or a family of three. Vakis and his parents are great people and very helpful. The location is also very suitable for touring around the area, go up in the mountains, or visit great beaches. One of the best locations in the island with lots of options for eating! Thank you Vaki and till next time!

That was amazing experiences for us. House was so clean and comfortable. It is very big and lovely place. Kostas and Malama are helpfull and friendly. They support us all way. We would like to choose same place for the next time. Thanks for everything:)

Wunderschöner kurzer Aufenthalt bevor es weiterging in die Berge. Das Häuschen hat alles was man braucht, ist super ausgestattet und sauber. Die Kommunikation war super und die Hosts haben sich so viel Mühe gegeben!

Het verblijf in het huis van Minas en Rodopi was geweldig. Het was mooier dan we op de foto's konden zien en het was van alle gemakken voorzien. Als je op zoek bent naar rust in een prachtige omgeving, kan je dit huis veilig boeken. De routebeschrijving die wij ontvingen voor de rit vanaf het vliegveld was perfect, want vooral het laatste stuk vanaf de doorgaande weg is steil en deels onverhard. Bij aankomst werden we hartelijk ontvangen door Apollon (de beheerder) en Rodopi. Er stonden allerlei zelfgemaakt producten voor ons klaar, die wij mochten gebruiken. Gedurende de week kwamen Minas en Rodopi langs om ons nog meer te brengen. Ontzettend vriendelijk en bovendien erg lekker. Wij hebben een heerlijke week gehad, met gelukkig mooi weer (eind april). Het (privé)strand onderaan de klif is top, en wij hebben hier meerdere keren gezwommen en gesnorkeld.

Il posto è molto molto bello, pulito ed anche eco sostenibile. Ci siamo trovati molto bene gli host sono disponibili e attenti, sono sempre nelle vicinanze per ogni esigenza. Bisogna sapere che la zona in cui alloggerete non è proprio in città quindi è fondamentale il mezzo di trasporto (scooter o auto). Per ogni esigenza bisogna fare riferimento a Nas o armenistis . La spiaggia sotto casa quando il mare è calmo è fantastica.

This was the second time we stayed at this wonderful location! From the apartment there are amazing views of the ocean, the village below which runs up the mountain, and of course the surrounding mountains. Exploring the village by foot is a must! There are many things to discover here, and the village square at night is bustling with locals who wander down to socialise with each other, sharing a drink or a meal at the local cafe/bars/tavernas. One of our favourites was the taverna Mantouvala which is next to and overlooks the ocean, fantastic views and great food. Our hosts Irini & her husband Foti are amazing! Very friendly and welcoming, not only to the apartment, but also to their home. They are a great source of information about the local culture and will recommend many things to see and do. If you're looking for and authentic Greek island escape without the large tourist crowds, then we would recommend a visit to Karavostimo. We would come here again without hesitation!

Second time we are visiting Olga’s place and all I can say is that she’s an amazing host. She even got us a mattress topper for my husband’s bad back. She’s very friendly and welcoming. She always brings us eggs wine or produce from her farms. The place has an amazing sea view &sunset. It’s quiet and very private. The kitchen has all you need to cook. Perfect spot for people who seek serenity. Also many choices to dine in the nearby towns and produce stores a couple miles away with all you need. Locals are very helpful and friendly. Icaria is the place to be especially in low season months if you seek peace & quiet, scenic mountain and sea drives and amazing crystal blue waters to swim. Thank you Olga for hosting us and hope to see you again.

Loved staying at Areti’s place. It was perfect for visiting Magganitis. Areti was very helpful and responsive. I would stay here again.

Mooie, ruime woning. Met name de achterkant van de woning was prachtig: heel licht en schitterend uitzicht over de rotsen en zee. Beide badkamers liggen naast elkaar op de begane grond. Dat wisten wij niet (dachten dat er een boven zou zijn) maar was geen probleem. De slaapkamers zijn deels open dus je hoort elkaar in de verschillende ruimtes goed maar ook dat was niet erg. Het huis was erg schoon, zelfs een bosje verse bloemen, en had alles wat we nodig hadden. Electra en haar moeder waren erg aardig! Het is een korte wandeling naar het centrum van Armenistis, denk een minuut of 5. Zwembad van hotel Daidalos was zo vroeg in het seizoen niet open. Ruimte rondom het huis erg verzorgd. Zeker aan te raden!

Eşim, çocuğum ve ben bir hafta sürelik Samos tatilimizde burada konakladık. Ev de misafirler için her şey düşünülmüş. Mutfak malzemeleri yeterliydi. Ev çok temizdi. Ev çok güzel bir deniz manzarasına sahip. Balos beach çok sakin ve güzel bir yer , insanlar çok güler yüzlü ve sıcakkanlı. Evin hemen aşağısında çok güzel bir restaurant var. Samos 'ta kaldığımız sürece en kaliteli ve en lezzetli yemekleri burada yedik. Yaklaşık 2 km mesafede Koumeika'da taze ürünler alabileceğiniz mini bir fırın var. Ev sahibi bölge ve seyahat ile ilgil sorularımıza çok hızlı yanıt verdi. İlgisi için çok teşekkür ederiz. Seneye yazın planlayacağımız tatilde tekrar burada kalmayı sabırsızlıkla bekliyoruz.

We would like to thank Angeliki and her husband for the warmhearted welcome and care during our stay. They are truely wonderful people. I am not exaggerating. The apartment is located 8 a minutes walk away down to the harbour / downtown (9 minutes up, if you are over 60) From the upper floor you have the view of town and mediterranean you always dreamed of. The apartment is well equipped , with anything 5 people will need for a two week vacationA number of nice (sandy) beaches are within 20 minutes driving distance. The island is much greener (more vegetated, even with forest) then most greek islands. With it’s history and historical places (from 2500 BC to 1100 AC and more recent history‘s house of Mikos Theodorakis), mountains, lake and forest it lends itself to discovery tours, hiking and swimming. Very good greek cooking with interesting varieties in an abundance of restaurants is a given. We will be back.

This was a bright, roomy apartment with multiple windows for fresh air and viewing. It is in a location that catches sea breezes, reducing need for AC. We particularly liked that it was an easy walk into the center of Fourni.

This is a little gem of a place! A little bohemian and relaxing with beautiful views of both sea & mountain. The pool is fabulous but as the lovely beach is a 5 minute walk you are spoiled for choice. The bathroom was the only slight issue, clean & adequate but very small. I will definitely be coming back.

This apartment is such a gem! Great location to the main square and is stocked with everything you need for your stay. Manolis was very helpful and great at communicating along the way. The internet connection can be a bit complicated if there are multiple people using it at the same time. As a digital nomad with strict deadlines, this was a bit of an adventure. Manolis did offer alternative options to help with these frustrations which was very appreciated.

Ideally located being close to the port and the town. A quiet island. The host recommended the the thermal baths in Therma which was a great experience.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Kampos. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, in einer guten Lage und besitzt alles an notwendiger Ausstattung. Die Kommunikation mit Nikolaos ist einfach.

Die Wohnung war perfekt gelegen mitten im Zentrum und trotzdem ruhig. Die Ausstattung ist einfach, aber alles sauber und gepflegt. Die riesige Terrasse mit Blick aufs Meer und über die Stadt war einfach traumhaft schön. Das Bad war ganz neu und das Bett sehr gut. Archondula ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, vielen Dank 🙏😊

Wunderbare Unterkunft am westlichen Ende von Samos´Südküste - abseits des deprimierenden Massentourismus. Kleinteilige, liebevolle, parkähnliche Anlage, mit viel Einsatz toll instandgehalten. Leider gibt es von 4 Lokalen in dem Bereich (Ort kann man nicht sagen) keine einzige Taverne mit wirklich guter griechischer Küche.
