What a beautiful, picturesque piece of heaven! Hosts were lovely, responsive and flexible to our tardy exit due to wrangling our toddler twins! Thank you for a delightful memory - we will be back!

Daniel was a brilliant host, and we loved our stay there. He and Stefan were immediate and super helpful with their responses. The cabins are perfect, with amazing views of the scenery. The sauna and two hot tubs are great to watch the sunset and northern lights. The location is spectacular, which is perfect to unwind and relax in. We would highly recommend this stay.

If you're looking for a serene place to stay in the southeastern region of Iceland, this cabin is perfect. It's in a peaceful, remote location surrounded by nature—exactly what we were hoping for. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped for a comfortable stay. It truly felt like our own little hideaway. The owner was incredibly kind and responsive. We requested an extra blanket and sheet, and they provided them right away, which we really appreciated. The cabin is also just a 15-minute drive from Höfn, where you'll find a large supermarket and a few great restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again!

If you are looking for a little cabin in the middle of nowhere this is your place! Well equipped cabins, comfortable (firm) beds. Dinner and breakfast up at the hotel were good, if somewhat over priced. Host was friendly and we were able to check in early which was nice after being in the cold rain most of the day. Recommend if you are looking for peace and tranquility.

Amazing stay! The hosts were very kind and let us tour the horse barn out first morning. They also recommended a near by horse back riding that was fantastic. The area is drive-able to great hikes, a spa, and many scenic areas.

Magical little stay in the winter! A beautiful way to close out the year, watching the snow fall.

We had a wonderful stay for 5 days in the cottage. The landscape was breathtaking, the photos do not do it justice! The cottage is equipped with everything we could possibly need, and very easy to get to by car. The outside hot tub with geothermal water was a lovely feature and fills up quickly. Within an hour or two from the biggest touristy places which was nice. We will definitely be back!

Very unique modular home "in the middle of nowhere" in the wilderness. it has everything you need ~ fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, fridge, wifi. Does not have washing machine. Perfect for 2 people but honestly a little tight for 4 adults. The 2 proper beds are great and comfy. The last 2 adults have to share a sofa bed which is not comfortable and bounces too much when one member tosses/turns. Overall a great experience

Kind and friendly hosts in a superb and unique setting to explore the south coast of Iceland! There is plenty of privacy and space in a nicely decorated and incredible well equipped cabin. We had an amazing stay at the cabin! It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the hot tub is such a great addition which we fully enjoyed. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful and peaceful. We will definitely be back!

We had a great stay! To be that close to the nature/sea is just awesome. We even had a seal showing it‘s head a few times just in front of us.

We stayed at this place for two nights ( 3 adults and 1 kid). It is very well equipped, you'll find everything you need for grilling or regular cooking. Views are breathtaking, and if you're lucky with the weather you can just chill outside and enjoy the fresh air. Hosts were very friendly and quickly answered all our questions. Instructions are perfect. One thing to note - if you use google maps, don't put the address there, use the coordinates. Address is correct, but google maps directs you to wrong location ( though, not far from correct place ).

My sister, my teenage daughter and myself spent five days at Edda’s place. It suited our needs perfectly. It’s right on the golden circle so easy to get about. We enjoyed the private location, great outlook and dark skies. We were lucky enough to see Aurora twice from right outside the property :) The house is warm, modern and clean. We cooked each evening and found the kitchen well equipped. All in all a great base to explore the South West of Iceland from.

super quietly located on a lake. From there you can reach some great attractions by rental car. Feel free to come back anytime! A note on the side, the kitchen is rudimentally equipped ( without stove) but with barbecue in the garden. super comfy, super cozy...

We had an amazing stay in the lakeside cabin! The cabin is so cute and the view is beautiful! Our five-year old had a blast staying there and exploring the surroundings. Friðrik was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Ragnar's cottage was amazing. Early birds can have Iceland's most iconic beach for themselves alone. Ragnar was a great host and provided us good advices. After harsh weather it was nice to be in such a cosy and warm place.

Very comfortable hut, complete with everything and beautifully furnished! Very comfortable double bed! Great location, but maybe a little far away! Experience I recommend to those who really want to live an Icelandic experience!

My friend and I stayed here the last night of our Iceland trip and we had an amazing time. Einar and Thora were wonderful hosts and I would recommend staying here to anyone visiting Iceland if you want a wholesome experience. They were lovely to talk to and made us feel right at home. We saw the northern lights from their patio which was the highlight of our trip!!!
