You can fully enjoy mountain sightseeing at this time of year, such as Kamikochi, Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, Hakuba and Happo Pond.From the second half of August to September, the summer bustle subsides, and it is a season when you can enjoy a quiet Shinshu. Go to the mountains and highlands during the day, and the tranquility of Satoyama at night. This is a rental cottage where you can enjoy a sauna, BBQ, and a starry sky. As a base for sightseeing in Azumino and Hakuba/Kamikochi, you can enjoy a comfortable stay for one night or more. There is also good access to Hakuba, Kamikochi and Tateyama-Kurobe, and it is suitable for group trips, family trips and long-term stays.With a washing machine and a bathroom dryer, it is also comfortable for extended stays. You can also get here by public transport, but it is more convenient if you have a car. Free transfers are available to and from Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station.Other transfers and sightseeing transfers are available for 2,000–8,000 yen (round trip) depending on the distance, for journeys within 2 hours each way.For groups of 5 or more, please consult with us in advance as we can arrange car rental. There are still vacancies on weekdays in September. It is also recommended for student trips in the second half of the summer holidays, as well as for couples and small groups.

Rent an entire log house on the Iizuna Highlands. Amane Guest House

This is Iizuna Kogen, a quiet villa area at an altitude of about 1,000 m. A simple log house built in 2022 with a strong wood aroma. You can discover many beautiful views within a 10-minute walk. Please be sure to take a look at Mt. Iizuna from Daiza-Hoshi Pond. It's about a 3-minute walk from the nearest bus stop (Iizuna Higashi-ku)! The next closest bus stop (Iizuna Kogen) is about a 7-minute walk away. You can also get here by public transport. Restaurants such as Mori no Eki, Iizuna Soba, ramen, and hamburgers are also within walking distance. About 25 minutes by car from Nagano Station and Zenkoji Temple. About 15 minutes by car to Togakushi Shrine. It is also an ideal base for golf and skiing in the Togakushi, Kurohime, and Myoko areas. Please also use it for climbing the Togakushi Kodo, Amatomi Trail, and Mt. Iizuna. If you would like to visit a hot spring, it is about 15 minutes by car to Tengu no Yakata on Lake Reisenji. For a large public bath, Asobiba is about 5 minutes away by car. There is a discount on the bath fee. We lend out a projector and screen free of charge. You can play games or have a screening party on the big screen. We also recommend relaxing with a barbecue, a campfire, or a tent sauna. Please book in advance for the rental of items such as a complete BBQ set, tarpaulin, sauna tent, and stove. Please book all rentals in advance. Of course, you can also bring your own.

This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

After procuring fresh ingredients locally, move to the Rock Forest, park your car in the parking lot, and go up the stairs to bring the ingredients to the hearth space. You won't see any other people. It is 60 minutes by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Karuizawa, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so you can work in the morning and take a half-day off in the afternoon, for example. Surrounded by nature, you can relax and enjoy an extraordinary time. < Winter season November-March > The outdoor bath is closed during the winter months.

There, you can buy local produce, craft beers & wine, and walk around the beautiful area. We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter. We are 1080m above sea level, its cool in summer!

Enokiya Nou is located 8 mins on foot from Nou Station, 3 mins by car from Nou IC, 5 minutes by car from Marine Dream Nou, and 20 minutes by car from Itoigawa Station. Supermarkets, drugstores, and home improvement stores are a 1 mins walk away, and there are also several restaurants within walking distance. The entire house can accommodate up to 12 guests. You will not be sharing with other guests. Contract parking is available a 1 mins walk away. Parking is available for up to two cars.

This family-friendly and the newly renovated house is located in the very traditional district and the calm but convenience area in Nagano city. The house is authentic and unique as it was a traditional Japanese clothing (Kimono) shop before. You would feel like your own home away from home. 5 minutes walk to the Zenkoji temple and 4 minutes to the bus stop for Togakushi national park.
