Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Kansai

Kyoko was a fantastic host, who even met us at the door before arrival to allow us to put our bags in early! She provided lots of local recommendations, had a beautiful space, and even provided us food and other snacks! It is in a great location, 15 min from Nara Park and 5 minutes to Nara Station (if train noises keep you up, be sure to bring earplugs!) and I cannot say enough great things about this stay!

The room was spacious, fully equipped, and I had a satisfying stay. I felt that I wanted to use it again because of the polite preparation of bonfires, detailed instructions on how to use the facilities, proper communication, and overall response.

The host was also quick to respond to inquiries and was very helpful in responding to various requests from us. The room was also very clean, dishes, condiments, and detergent, and we had a similar time at home. Also, the mattress on the bed was comfortable and great for the tired body. There was also a supermarket and convenience store nearby, but the street in front of us was quiet and very pleasant. Also, I would like to stay there when I visit Osaka.

We had a lovely stay at this authentic and beautifully maintained Airbnb in Kyoto. It was perfect for two couples, with clean, separate bedrooms and all amenities thoughtfully provided. The traditional design added to the charm, and the washing machine was a helpful bonus. The only small downside was that the kitchen and dining area on the lower level were a bit dark, but overall, it was a comfortable and peaceful place to stay. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy and clean house! The neighborhood is quiet and decent, making it a great option if you're driving and exploring in Kyoto. The host was very helpful—they speak excellent English and Chinese, which made the check-in process smooth and easy. The house itself is spacious, with two floors, three bedrooms, and one bathroom. It was perfect for us, and we appreciated the peaceful surroundings.

Very nice 3 story house. It's right off the station and very close to 7/11. It was comfortable for 5 people, loved that each room had a bed. It was easy to contact the host and they were flexible with the check in time. Cons: Doors to the first and 3rd room are hard to open/close. Broke my nail trying to pull it shut. The sink in the restroom by the showers were surrounded by mold and mildew. It was not clean. We were pretty grossed out and disappointed with the cleanliness of the sink area. Overall it was comfortable for 5 people, situated a private quite area and accessible the station which made it easy to get around.

Our group of 8 stayed at this Air BnB during our three night stay in Kyoto. This place has two floors and the top and bottom floor are copies of each other. I really liked that each floor had their own washer/dryer, fridges and bathrooms. The area has a lot of good restaurants and it is fairly close to Nishkiki market along with other attractions. The Air BnB comes with a booklet of recommendations for restaurants and clear instructions on the home;

We spent 3 nights in Kyoto with our family of four. The small house is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood and within walking distance from the imperial gardens, the Gion neighbourhood, the river and a huge shopping arcade. We appreciated the quietness after the busy “must see” places in Kyoto. The house is small but has everything needed for 4 😊

Staying at Anita's house was really nice. Anita gave us very detailed information on how to get to her house so we had no trouble getting there. Anita's house is small, but it was enough for the six of us. It's small, but compact, and has everything we need. We felt very comfortable staying at her house. The house is clean and I think Anita has renovated the house, so there are two rooms that are completely closed all the way up. Thank you very much, Anita. Someday, if we come back to Osaka, maybe we will consider staying there again! God bless!

Very nice and quiet apartment. Location is good. Easy to get there from Namba station. Near market and tourist area, restaurant and yet away from noisy places. Family mart nearby. Place is exactly on photos and very clean and neat. Host is very responsive and friendly. Very helpful in booking, queries, check in and check out. Great places

Great place, and location

Mari's place worked well for us. It's always nice to have a kitchen so we don't always have to eat out. The location was quiet and residential. There are a couple of neighborhood restaurants and a bakery, and convenience stores close by which was great for us, and the proximity to the river was lovely. Mari was kind enough to give us a child bike seat to use so we cycled everywhere on the bikes she allows guests to use. Biking around Okayama is easy and super fun way to get around and from Mari's place it is quick to get in to the centre or to the gardens and castle. The space itself is a little cozy for a family - all in one bedroom and a small table in the kitchen to eat - but not unusual for a Japanese rental. It has everything you need though to do some basic cooking, and the laundry is a nice bonus if you are there a few days. Overall we had a great stay. Thanks Mari.

The space felt cozy and welcoming, like staying at a relative’s home. Our host was incredibly kind and warm, and thanks to them, we had a truly special time as a family. If you enjoy a relaxed pace of travel, you’ll love the location. We really enjoyed exploring the neighborhood. We’d love to come back if we ever visit Takamatsu again!

The location is very convenient, the subway station is very, very close to Dotonbori, there is a lot of food nearby, and the drugstore and 711 are downstairs.The room has a balcony, so you can go out and enjoy the fresh air at any time.The only thing that was bad was that the bedroom near the road was a little loud at night, and the rest was perfect!The host Miwa is very responsive and friendly. The room is fully equipped. It is a perfect trip!Thanks for the hospitality!

The view was good, it was a very quiet and pleasant space, there was a lot of sauna, an outdoor air bath, and the flow of the bath and water bath were perfect!I was able to see the sunrise beautifully.The sauna is also a great memory from the morning. The kitchen was also spacious and very easy to use.The connection to the projector didn't work, but next time, I would like to stay with all my friends!

this is a most amazing place we have ever stayed with air bnb, kitchen is equipped with all necessary cooking stuff and even various seasoning, bedrooms are superb.... Children have plenty of space inside the building and backyard for running, the space is more than enough for our 12 people group. ......... Perfect.......

Spacious, elegantly furnished and very peaceful. We loved the house and its location - right next to the Tōdai-ji temple and the Deer Park. We had a bit of an issue entering the house as the code given to us was incorrect … but was just a little hiccup in our overall stay. I would wholeheartedly recommend this house to anyone coming to Nara. We stayed 3 days and we could have definitely stayed longer!

We have a lot of equipment, condiments, etc. You can kindly check it in advance. I had a really good time.
