Our sunny detached chalet is located on a 450 m² plot, in the middle of the forest on a recreational estate in (Gellik) Belgium. Less than nine kilometers from Maastricht, where we, the hosts, live. The domain borders the Hoge Kempen National Park, where nature lovers can enjoy themselves. The activities are countless: from cycling, hiking, horseback riding, etc. Or a city trip to Maastricht. At the chalet, there is a lockable shed where you can put up to 2 bicycles.

This guest house is located in the heart of Haspengouw. The Kluis van Vrijhern and the Wijngaerdbos are within walking distance, and various hiking trails pass through them. Our lovingly restored apartments are located in a former barn of our organic farm. The approximately 300-year-old farm is located in the middle of the Maas-Schwalm-Nette Nature Park. In the immediate vicinity is Lake Borner and Lake Harik. We cultivate permanent pasture with a suckler cow herd, consisting of approx. 20 animals that spend the summer in the pastures. Our farm is home to our friendly dog named Costa.

Situated 3.5 km from the picturesque village of Eersel, on the very edge of the forest, lies B&B De Zandhoef. This beautiful cottage can accommodate up to 4 guests. You have access to your own private 6 person Jacuzzi. There are mountain-bike and hiking trails starting in our back yard and you are more than welcome to rent our e-MTB or MTB to try these out.
