Schloss Hohendorf is located in the popular holiday regions near Stralsund, the gateway to Rügen, on the Baltic Sea. The property is located in a large castle park surrounded by nature with horse paddocks, not far from the Bodden waters, the sea and the picturesque fishing port of Barhöft, which also attracts sailors. There are 30 private apartments in the castle. The modern and brightly furnished apartment 26 is about 25 m², equipped with a new kitchenette and is located on the upper floor of the property.

Pure and ecological - apartment in the Zarchlin manor house

The apartment is located on the upper floor of the manor house in the historically named Fronte Spice, the gable above the main entrance. It consists of a spacious living-dining room and a bedroom with ensuite shower room. In this apartment, everything has been restored to its original state. Paint off walls and beams, plastered with clay and lime; then gently restored with a little modern twist. It is a unique experience to feel the pure and clean ecological materials.

Elegant and ecological living in the Zarchlin estate house

The apartment is located on the first floor of the manor house. Here you sleep and live in the historic bedrooms of the former tenants. It consists of a spacious living-dining room, a bedroom with ensuite shower room. In the bathroom, the historic tiles have been reworked. Ecologically renovated to the highest standard, you sleep romantically in the four-poster bed. The park-like garden with old trees invites you to stroll.

The manor house offers an unforgettable stay with its charming apartments and lovingly designed representative rooms. Enjoy your stay in the lovingly furnished and spacious Georg suite. The suite, named after the last landlord, has two bedrooms, a large kitchen-living room and a bathroom with shower and freestanding bathtub, all with its 85 m². From here you can let your gaze wander over the entire estate.

Experience Mecklenburg's last Baroque castle. In your room you can overlook our 5 hectare castle park with lake. This and the adjacent castle forest invite you to take walks; cycling and boat tours as well as excursions to the Barlach town of Güstrow or to easily accessible Rostock or the Baltic Sea beaches are also available. The highlight of your visit could be one of our diverse cultural events.

With extra bed for 2 people possible. The manor house offers an unforgettable stay with its charming rooms and apartments and the lovingly designed representative rooms. The former servants' rooms in the basement are suitable for short stays or cyclists. The single or double rooms have their own sink; the toilets and shower can be shared. The former estate kitchen can also be used by all guests.
