The Chalfonte Hotel is such a cool place! If you’re intrigued with history and character, this is an experience for you. Only a 5 min walk from the beach and lots of great restaurants and things to do in the area. This was my first time in Cape May, it will certainly not be my last.

We enjoyed our stay here. we stayed overnight in September for an event and enjoyed the makings of a really cute, old timey beach bed and breakfast. The only comment I can suggest is that the common areas were not set ip to be inviting for vacationers. The lounge and kitchen is a well lived-in area and I wasn't sure if we should use it, but we were there off season and the room was discounted. Our room was very clean and cute, with its own private bathroom. I liked the vibe of the throwback decor, and the building was quiet. I enjoyed being greeted by the hosts and their child, and they personally showed me our room and set us all up with all the things we need. it make me feel very welcome as if they were welcoming us into their family home. we would stay again!

It is always a pleasure to stay in the beautiful Chalfonte Hotel! Charming historic Victorian surroundings and a beautiful relaxing veranda three blocks from Cape May's beaches. The front desk is always helpful and friendly, and the King Edward bar is always full of interesting conversations and delicious drinks. We have been coming to Cape May for 10 years and have stayed in the Chalfonte for three, I don't see myself staying anywhere else!

I enjoyed my stay in the little corner room at the Chalfonte. I loved reading and people-watching on the porch. It's a great location, just a few blocks from the beach and the main shopping area. I parked my car a few blocks away and rented a bicycle to get around town. The bathroom was a bit further down the hall than I expected, but it was always clean and available.

Great spot! loved the communal feel and accessibility to the beach. Room was tidy and exactly what I needed. Great experience all around!

Great place to stay and relax, friendly neighborhood, and some bars close by for comfort.

The location was stunning—just a short walk to the beach—and everything about the space felt intentional and thoughtfully designed. The decor was beautiful, giving off a high-end, relaxing vibe that made it easy to unwind. Parking was easy and the location was very convenient. Would definitely stay again!

From the moment we arrived every thing ran smoothly. Check in was quick and easy( and a few hours early!). Grounds and pool were immaculate. Rooms were very clean, beds and linens were comfortable. There were lots of staff on premises and it showed how hard they worked. It was on the beach block so the location was great. The hotel was family oriented, with lots of international guests. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for a trip to the Jersey shore.

Great motel to stay at in Wildwood, just a few blocks from Morey's pier. A clean, safe, and quiet place to stay during our trip, just what we needed!

Great location, parking garage and room accessibility was great. Nice room. The pool was a great plus and the food at the Blue Water Grille was really really good! Would stay again.

Beautiful spot and a lovely room with high vaulted ceilings. The heated salt water pool is a a great feature as well. We had views of the water and the beach is right across the street. You also have easy access to the town center and restaurants and bars. Some small annoyances: The Sonos system never worked and the stove didn’t work because it wasn’t plugged in. The manager is very responsive generally and helpful. They also provided a complementary bottle of champagne to celebrate my wife’s birthday.

We had a great time, beach earlier in day, then pool, shower & dinner on boardwalk, rides and quiet time on balcony looking over Wildwood! Next day-repeat 😊

Sal’s place was one of the best AirBnB’s spots we’ve ever stayed at. The place looks just like the pictures. I’m a clean freak and the place was spotless! Like, top notch hotel level of cleanliness. Our family of 4 had a very comfortable stay and we will definitely be back! The host was helpful, responsive and very friendly. The building was quiet and greatly located. Highly recommend!

Overall a good and comfortable stay. My only issue was the remodeling that was taking place during our stay. I was totally unaware of so we didn’t have access to certain areas with the little one. Which had I known prior I probably would’ve held off the stay. The main reason we picked this place is because it’s family friendly areas and activities.

I had a wonderful stay! The hostess was extremely responsive, helpful, and thoughtful throughout my entire trip. The hotel room was absolutely beautiful ,it had everything I wanted for my weekend getaway. It was also perfectly located, close to everything in Atlantic City. The restaurant in the hotel served delicious food, and the atmosphere was amazing. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I will definitely be going back again very soon!

The unit was very spacious and waking up to the views of the ocean was nice. The place was clean, quiet & private. Michael was friendly & responsive. He made check-in seamless as possible.

The place was immaculate and so comfortable. The area was great. The fact that it was dog friendly was even better. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely love to come back soon.

Great view of the fireworks on Friday nights. We stepped out onto the balcony and they were right infront of us. Enjoyed the show from the chairs next to our door. Awesome pool. Large size rooms. A minute or two walk to the boardwalk. We would definitely book here again. The kids and I had a very nice time!

Nice hotel style stay in OC. Everything is brand new from new renovations (they were still finishing the outside when we booked June 2023) and you can tell it’s going to be a beautiful spot altogether when finished! The manager/owner was very responsive and helped with any questions we had. A few expectations for it: it’s a hotel style room, so not kitchenette or microwave. The parking is three-ish blocks away (but free!) so frequent car use isn’t ideal but still works. Overall it was nice and we’d stay again!
