Das ruhige Apartment bestehend aus großem, hellem Wohnschlafzimmer, komplett eingerichteter Küche (Herd mit Backofen, Mikrowelle, Toast-Ofen, Pad-Kaffemaschine) und privatem Duschbad befindet sich im Souterrain unseres Hauses. Es ist 60 m² groß und verfügt über einen eigenen Eingang vom Garten aus. Wir wohnen am Rhein zwischen Köln und Düsseldorf mit guter Bus-Anbindung an die S-Bahn / Langenfeld Rhld. Die Fahrzeiten von dort nach Köln oder Düsseldorf betragen jeweils ca. 30 min. Kostenloser Stellplatz für einen Pkw ist vorhanden. Das Stadt- und Einkaufszentrum mit Restaurants und Frühstückscafés sowie die schöne Altstadt von Monheim sind in 10 min zu Fuß erreichbar. Zur Rheinpromenade sind es 15 min. Der Knipprather Wald, der zum Joggen und Spazierengehen einlädt, ist zu Fuß in 5 min und das Hallenschwimmbad "MonaMare" in 15 min zu erreichen. Wir sind ein weltoffenes Ehepaar und sprechen außer Deutsch auch Englisch, Französisch, Spanisch und Portugiesisch. Wir lieben den Umgang mit internationalen Gästen.

The apartment was newly furnished in the fall of 2021. It is bright and friendly and has its own entrance and its own small terrace. It is located in an idyllic district with half-timbered houses and is close to the center of Leichlingen. Leichlingen is a small town on the edge of the Bergisches Land and easily accessible from Cologne, Düsseldorf and Wuppertal. Bicycles and a parking space can be used. Contactless check-in is also possible.

The apartment is on the 3rd floor of a townhouse. There is direct proximity to the A59 highway, towards Düsseldorf and Cologne. Both Düsseldorf and Cologne can be reached within 15-20 minutes by car or train. The S-Bahn [suburban train] stop is a 15-minute walk away. However, there is also a bus stop very close by. Probably the largest waterski resort in Germany is a few hundred meters away. Simple swimming is also possible here.
