Holiday rentals with lake access in Öland

A stunning and beautiful location: the house, the surroundings, the lake, the drive to the house, the chambers, the decorations, the playhouse, … too much to sum it all up. We felt privileged to stay here. We felt like a lord and lady of the mansion. Wild animals roam free on the premises (deer, badger, fox, wild boar, … ) and there are plenty of walks from the house and in the area. There is also a lovely bathing place in Ishult - a couple of miles down the road. The only thing we missed was wifi (internet connectivity). Especially because there was also a bad 4G signal.

Jimmy's beautiful cottage exceeded our idea. It has been lovingly furnished and is within walking distance of the sea. The beautiful Swedish cities of Kalmar and Karlskrona are easily accessible by car and also the surrounding area offers great opportunities to relax with its beautiful nature. My family and I had a great stay in Pierre's house. We used it as base for a visit to Astrid Lindgren Park. The location is really beautiful and peaceful and the children played outside without screens and phones the whole day (which usually never happens). The place is well equipped for children with toys, swings and a trampolin. As most Swedish country houses, the house is not luxury, but we also didn't expect that and who cares when it is couzy and the surroundings are as great like this.

Beautiful house with almost everything necessary for a good vacation. Very quiet surroundings, but short distances to shopping or to the water/nature.

The accommodation suited us perfectly. 3 bedrooms with all amenities that you could need. Homely and in a beautiful surroundings. If you are 4-6 people, you will enjoy very much here! /Martin

A nice apartment. Large, with private entrance, comfortable beds, kitchen and bathroom well equipped. Sten is a super nice host, helpful and has a lot to tell about the surroundings. Also got good tips for onward trip to Öland. We enjoyed ourselves and can warmly recommend the accommodation.

We really liked our stay. Nina and Peter were very friendly and the house was very comfortable and had everything we needed and more. It is a short walk from the water and is in a very quiet place. It is 20 minutes drive from Kalmar. We highly recommed this place.

Was exactly as we expected. Walking distance to town, as well as to a great swimming area for morning swim.

It is a very beautiful and peaceful place, right on the sea shore. The kitchen and bedroom are large and spacious. I also liked that the apartment had a separate toilet and bathroom. Since we like southern Öland, the location was perfect for us. Warmly recommended.

We had very nice days at Anne's place and could have stayed longer. We had a lot of space both indoors and outside and it was very quiet despite being close to the street. From the property we were able to start various excursions, Astrid Lindgren World, Västervik, Moose Park and many small pretty places are less than an hour away. A swimming lake is within walking distance.

We stayed at the property for 9 days with four people. This was clean and tidy upon arrival . The host immediately welcomed us in person, In addition, there were great excursion destinations during the stay, if you have any questions by message —-> quick response . The location of the house is great ! You can also Explore and see a lot In about two hours you have many other excursion destinations . We were a lot with the Bicycle on the road and therefore have a lot Seen from the surroundings, the bike paths are great . So a great vacation all around! Thanks for that !

Magical place when you want to get in from City life. When the sea and forest meet =) Absolutely wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay at Per's small cabin by the sea. Although small, the cabin is very cozy and comfortable and really has everything you need and a priceless view over the water. The boat was a great plus and we enjoyed very much exploring the area. We highly recommend it.

We had some lovely days in Småland. Cute little house in the middle of the forest. We were both on a trip to Västervig and Astrid Lindgreens Verden. Would love to come again: -)

Trip to Oskarshamn city and the open-air museum (Döderhult) - nice hike there and a great circular route around Svartö. The house is well equipped, spacious, all rooms and also the bathroom) with a terrace and seating on three sides as well as a conservatory. Tables and chairs are available on all three sides, plus 2 deck chairs. We checked in via the key box. That was very easy. The navigation system can't find Svartö, so enter Hammarglo. From there, the signage is perfect. The house is easy to find with the description in Svartö. In short: Absolutely recommended!
