On the farm, there was a royal inn a long time ago. There, the king and his entourage could eat, rest and change to rested horses on their journey through the country. This was a long time ago. We have run the farm as a dairy farm, but that is also history. Now that we have retired, we have devoted a little extra love and care to this house. It has been renovated and become 2 apartments. Welcome to Torestorps Drängstuga - an ancient house in the heart of Småland! Here, the fairy tales, heroes, love, hard work and party live in the walls. The house is about 100 m2 on two floors and is located a stone's throw from a larger farm building in the middle of the countryside in the Småland forests. You can get to Kalmar and Öland in 30-60 minutes and to Nybro to shop in ten. There are duvets, a wood-fired fireplace, a sauna in the forest and Doris the cat is happy to stay with you if you want to have company.

Designer Carl Malmsten founded his school Capellagården in Vickley with artistic focus. The resort is open to visitors and one of Öland's most visited tourist destinations. There is a cafe and a shop with fine craft products and self grown plants for sale. The Vickleby Alaska attracts many flower lovers. In the month of May, a sea of orchids is spreading out.
